Great property Can recommend

The location is fantastic in center city. Our room was so inconveniently located with corridors, stairs and a connecting passage to the rear building that it became humorous. Funny except for the luggage handling over all the obstacles and twists and turns. the breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpfull. we would stay again if the opportunity arises -- but would be very careful in checking the details of our room location and access.

This was a great place to land when we arrived in Norway. It is a building with lots of history and is perfectly located for exploring Bergen. The breakfast was great too. We would stay again!

The property has been recently renovated, and they have plans for more. The past has been cleverly integrated with the new. We enjoyed staying in this unique, historic hotel.

Quirky building

Great atmospheric hotel, large rooms, welcoming staff

An absolute gem! Located in the beautiful heart of Bryggen the hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable and packed full of character. Perfectly placed to explore Bergen, all the must do tourist spots are walking distance along with the train station to explore the rest of Norway. The buffet style breakfast is an excellent start to the day with plenty of choice and a wealth of excellent restaurants surround the hotel so you won’t struggle to find somewhere for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again should we return to Bergen.

This property is adjacent to and walkable to eateries, shops and museums. It is an older building full of charm. The breakfast is generous and quite good .
