This was by far the most frightening hotel experience l've ever had. I checked in at around 1:40 a.m. as one guest. Three family members accompanied me only to help carry my luggage to the room before returning to their own nearby hotel as they were a group of youth male travelling together During check-in, the night receptionist asked me several times how many guests there would be, and I clearly stated that only I would be staying overnight and I would ho back and forth between two hotels as we are in jet lag with a bigger group of friends at the nearby hotel. He even offered me a room for four people, and I told him they would simply come upstairs to see the room and help with my luggage before leaving. A short time later, while I was in my room with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the night receptionist (I believe his name was Iva, working the night shift of July 23) suddenly banged aggressively three of four times on my door multiple times around 2:00 a.m just in less than a 8-10 mins after | went to the room. It was loud enough to frighten me and made my heart to beat. When I opened the door, he immediately shouted shakingly that I either pay for three additional guests or he would call the police!!!! I was completely shocked!!!! | repeatedly explained that I was the only registered guest staying overnight and that my company were simply helping me with my luggage and came to see if the place is safe enough to leave me and were about to leave. Nice room with quality toiletries. Gym and pool. Good size room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was a little disappointing - several items had been eaten and not replaced.

The hotel was in a beautiful location surrounded by the national park. Hotel room , swimming pool , gym was upto the mark. The hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere with a fireplace in the lobby. Took a morning walk . Staff was great. Nice little town but shops were closed on Sunday morning. I’m so glad we had chose this place even though it was a bit away from Amsterdam. Would love to visit again. Park onsite plenty space . Breakfast was good.

De omgeving is prachtig maar het is echt super gehorig, je kan mensen van 2 kamers verderop horen praten en je word heletijd wakker als er mensen langslopen, ik ga hier nooit meer heen

Nice quiet place just what I needed

Wouldn't take me for dinner when I arrived 5min after the kitchen was supposed to close. Friendly staff but poor organisation

We loved the hotel in a small city close to the woods. Cute decor and we enjoyed the hotel surroundings. Breakfast was also good.

Great pool. Quiet and had it to ourselves most of the time. Lots of space, open but cosy lounges, nice atmosphere and very spacious. The room was spotless but had very poor lighting to work and there was only 1 pillow each. Great that there was a separate toilet and nice bathroom. Comfy bed.

Good place only thing was at 1 point there was a dog barking to a point I had to leave the hotel due to the disturbance.

Our stay was good. This hotel is set in a beautiful area but may be tricky to find for some. The disabled parking is a little limited and the parking spaces were quite small. We ate at the restaurant which was good. The room is advertised as having a double bed but there were 2 single beds put together with separate mattresses and covers - This was a shame as it meant we could not sleep as we would normally at home as a couple; this and the unfinished marks where previous light fixtures had been on the ceiling were our main negative points. We did struggle to rest and sleep but this was due to the single bed layout; the property at night is peaceful and quiet. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Beautiful spot..staff were so friendly and accommodating..would love to go back amd spend a few days their when we have more time

Nice place and peaceful and relaxing

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room. A small downside: it took a couple of hours to get the room heated up.

There were noisey children running up and down e corridors past the bedrooms making lots of noise when trying to sleep - they were not adhering to Covid restrictions! The breakfast the next morning was horrendous it was freezing cold and when we said something the staff did not seem bothered!

Reminded us of a UK Centre Parcs. Great location in woods with good dog walking country surrounding.

Lovely positioning in a forest. Friendly staff. Not much open in the way of child friendly restaurants around. Could do with more information about local attractions/restaurants at reception.

Nice hotel in a small town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our hotel bill was wrong but they amended it although it took a while. We would stay again.
