With a short walk to the neighbor restaurants and grocery market along back streets in the area, a small public garden right in front of the hotel, a short ride via taxi to the tourist spots in the city, and airy room with partially operable window plus great ventilation in bathroom, really enjoyed the stay; however it needs an upgrade to the room, especially the television …

The staff was very helpful. There was someone at the front desk who spoke and understood English which was helpful. Good location and easy to catch a taxi.

The hotel was comfortable and had excellent facilities, including a sauna. The staff were really helpful and made sure we got to the airport on time. On the down side, not great for public transport links. The water pressure in the shower was good, but this kind of made the shower cubicle leak, which in turn made the floor pretty slippery. My partner also complained about the cost of breakfast, but I think approx. 130rmb is par for the course in these kinds of places.

The room was comfortable and clean. The area had some good food but not easy to get to other parts of the city without a taxi. They nickle and dimed us for the snacks that were put on the coffee table. Other hotels executive suites I've stayed in had free minibars so I was surprised to get charged for potato chips and peanuts. Other than that disappointment our bathtub's drain was broken. The water wouldn't drain out. They fixed it promptly the next day but we didn't want to try our luck again. The executive lounge was alright. Some of breakfast items it was hard to tell how long they'd been on display. In the evening they had a decent assortment of liquor and good snacks.

Well located hotel if you're not looking for the dead centre of town. There are quite a few bars, coffee shops and a good mix of restaurants in the area. Metro is 10 minutes walk then easy to get to the centre. Airport is about 20 mins away. The hotel has good facilities so all up it's a good choice.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the rooms themselves to the service. Our greatest surprise was the neighborhood. We decided to take the subway back one night and discovered an incredible hot pot restaurant nearby, along with what clearly looks like an upscale shopping district. Highly recommended.

A good hotel but about 20 mins from the city centre. Taxis are so cheap in Chengdu meaning that doesn't really matter though. You won't find anything good to do within walking distance of the hotel, lots of slums and poverty, nearby apartment blocks so deteriorated they look like they're about to collapse. If you just want a base to spend your time with a few trips out, this hotel is perfect as it's very westernised and has an excellent restaurant which always seemed to be open. If you want to wander round exploring without using taxis, stay in the city centre where it's not so run down. All in all a posh hotel that's very comfortable with good facilities.

We loved this hotel! We were only going to stay one night, but our flight was cancelled and we gladly signed up for another night. This hotel was wonderful. We really enjoyed how pretty the Christmas decorations were, a little taste of home. The Concierge, David, was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He really went the extra mile to make sure we knew where we were going! The room itself was comfortable, clean and a good value. We will be repeat customers for sure!

Concierge desk very helpful in answering our questions and providing advice. They had also been very responsive to e mail questions prior to our stay regarding organizing tours.

The hotel was fine. The staff are courteous and facilities good. Chengdu is a big city and it takes a while to get anywhere from the hotel. There is a nice park across the road, and some shops witin walking distance.

Perfect hotel. Nice area. Go everywhere by taxi and sights to be seen close. Probably one of the best hotels in Chengdu for the price.

The Millennium Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a great area. They have nice people working there and a very comfortable room. There are many restaurants and a nice park in walking distance. It was also an easy cab ride to the airport and the downtown area where we went shopping and saw a show at a tea house.
