Trevligt hotell och personal, fin uteplats, nära havet, centrum och stationen.

We had a fantastic stay at Slottshotellet. Beautiful room, no AC, but a fan did the job. Breakfast was lovely, don't miss the option that you can order omelettes, fried eggs, porridge and so on... Though, the restaurant, especially the drinks, were very overpriced. And we found no place to sit outside at the Hotel area, with our own drinks, since every table was numbered and belonged to the Restaurant.

Mycket mysigt hotell med mycket trevlig och proffsig personal. Centralt och bra läge Något små rum och bara en nyckel till dubbelrum och som behövs för ytterdörr. Maten och restaurangen med den fina innergården är riktigt bra.

Det blev väldigt lite sömn då gardinerna som kunde dras för det ena fönstret släppte igenom i stort sett allt ljus. Det gick inte att dra för någonting för det andra fönstret. Tråkigt att betala för ett hotellrum och få ca. 3h sömn pga av att det inte finns ordentliga mörkläggningsgardiner eller rullgardiner.

Breakfast is outstanding. Awesome staff everyday that went above and beyond. Even stored our luggage after we checked out so we could tour Kalmar Castle. My personal favourite was the power of those showers in the bathroom! Holly cow it was like having a massage while showering. Very impressed. Lol

Mycket trevlig hjälpsam personal, kändes familjärt men ändå proffsigt. De glömde dressingen på min hamburgare och mannen skulle få en special vid sidan om som inte heller dök upp. Men vi fick provsmaka drycker utan extra kostnad, ändå trevligt

Wonderful and cozy and located more or less in the park, you should try room 52!

Our room was very comfortable. I appreciate that the windows opened for ventilation and didn’t mind the chorus of rooks roosting in the tree outside the window. The beer and food were very good. The breakfast was a full Swedish frukost with two kinds of pickled herring (very good) and a lovely veined blue cheese. The staff were very helpful and happy to lock our bags in a closet between check out and our departure time from Kalmar. I have booked to stay there when I return in a week.

​The staff was very nice and the place is cosy. Excellent breakfast, though it gets overcrowded during weekend peak hours. Noise levels from the hotel bar/restaurant and nearby birds made it difficult to sleep well.
