Upon checking in, told we needed printed vouchers from Expedia, they couldn’t find our reservation. After a long frustrating delay, we were given out room, which we had to change because it smelled like pet urine. Then at the restaurant there, my girlfriend pulled something out of her mouth, which turned out to be a thick fingernail!! My own dinner made me sick and I spent the night vomiting. Will obviously never return, very upsetting experience.

This was probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Europe. The location, the facility, the rooms, the breakfast, the beach…. Absolutely everything was so amazing! We loved it so much. Our room was incredible. The spa is amazing. I can’t say one bad thing about it, only that you should definitely come here !

As some other reviews have mentioned, this hotel is not a five star property by any stretch of the imagination. I’ve stayed in several 5 star hotels and you would immediately notice the difference in attention to detail, politeness of the staff and would never make you repeat yourself about problems which are ruining your stay. The staff was notified multiple times of our room having a bathroom door which would not stay shut. Nobody fixed it. We asked to change rooms but they only cared to upsell. The room was noisy with annoying sounds from the kitchen during breakfast hours. Not relaxing at all to sit on the balcony hearing dishes clanking. Staff was only interested in us at check in and check out when it was time to collect payment. Spa was very nice. Food at breakfast was never changed. No oatmeal!? How can you not offer oatmeal. Overall they invested a lot into updating the rooms to better suit modern times but the staff remains less than pleasant. 3 star hotel at most with potential for 3.5 but not 5 stars like a Belmond, Four Seasons or MO clearly are. Really was hoping for better from this beautiful location but we made the best of our 4 night stay.

Lovely stay, large bed and rooms, great breakfast selection, attentive staff. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious as well. We enjoyed the spa (included) and massage. Pretty good value for money.

The hotel was faultless, staff helpful and friendly. The food was exceptional quality. However, the hotel is not five star quality in its entirety. Paying two third the price would have been appropriate value for money

Hotel Cala del Pi was an outstanding experience! The location and views were breathtaking, and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel valued throughout our stay. The dining was delicious, and the spa was a fantastic way to unwind. We had a great time and can't wait to return for a longer stay! Highly recommended!

This is NOT under any circumstances a 5 star property. If you have every stayed at the Four Seasons or Auberge Collection, this resort is nothing like it. Super old, the whole hotel needs a complete overhaul, rooms are small and the decor is dated and the furniture is old. The bathroom was the worst. Couldn’t even move in the shower, it was so tiny. Not luxury at all. It should be a 3.5 star hotel. Hotel staff was perfunctory and did not go out of their way to do anything special for us. Made a huge mistake by choosing this place.

Excellent hotel.

A beautiful hotel. The only downside is that it is situated at the top of a hill on the edge of town - which means a twenty minute walk up the hill after a visit to a restaurant etc in Platja d'Oro!

This was really a great experience, and the attention to detail in this hotel is better than in most that I have stayed at. For example they had a shaving kit in the bathroom, which is sometimes a very needed accessory. The restaurant, served amazing food, and the service was really great.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The views of the ocean from our balcony were breathtaking. The spa was very relaxing and well kept. Excellent Mediterranean style breakfast buffet and great food at the restaurant as well. Perfect place to relax on the beach.

The room and spa were first class. The only part that wasn’t first class was the breakfast. The service was not very good.

Excellent hotel, elegant, very clean with wonderful service from the reception staff to cleaning staff. the breakfast was very good. On my birthday they sent a card and Wine which was a real surprise. It I would rate among the top 10% of luxury hotels. The have indoor and outdoor pools, and modest Gym room and beautiful beachs close by.

Beautiful hotel on the beach. Staff members were attentive and pleasant. We would definitely stay at Cala Del Pi again.

This is an exceptional resort with amazing views, service, spa and rooms overlooking pool side and sea. Amazing experience! Will come back for sure!

Hotel is in a great location, 10 minutes walk to town, on the waterfront, easy access to beach in front....and the most wonderful coastal walking track. Room was spacious with a big balcony and water views. Pool area was good with plenty of sun beds for everyone...so no pre breakfast saving here. Restaurant is a beautiful setting, and food very good.
