A two night stay half way between Brugge and Ghent. Noting it was a holiday weekend prices nearby were at silly heights hence our choice of Aalter. Be careful with car parking as part of space directly opposite the hotel is unavailable on Saturday afternoons so ensure you plan accordingly.

Staff super friendly, not the most luxury hotel but really friendly staff. Good breakfast, nice bar. For a nice simple passing by hotel a good choice!

Love this hotel and easy to get to from the UK. Beds comfortable. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey if not included.

The hotel was clean and quiet, with a clean and spacious bathroom and in a great location. The breakfast was awesome, totally worth it! The hotel is privately owned so it was great to support this local business!

I stayed to attend a local football tournament for children / teams from across Europe. The hotel was perfect. Located in Aalter which has a pretty town centre with a few nice bars. The breakfast was excellent, the bed comfortable & I was fortunate to have a nice view. Recommend for a short stay, either when visiting Belgium or passing through.

Breakfast was terrible. They would not permit you to preview what was being offered. You pay before being allowed into the breakfast area. People who are OK with high-calorie foods would welcome this place.

It is only 2 minutes drive from the main motorway between Dunkirk and Antwerp. So it is very convenient. The restaurants in the town square are 4 minutes walk from the hotel and they offer an excellent menu.The bedroom windows have the normal heavy curtains but in addition they also have electric operated shutters that ensures a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was really good.

It was so easy to walk to the train station and back or to shops from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and a lot of variety to choose from. The staff were always available and happy to help. I would highly recommend this place!

It is in perfect spot to visit Gent and Brugge if you have a car. Absolutely great breakfast choices. Excellent Belgian beer selection in the bar.
