Clean, friendly staff, good location

Room was very clean, location was great. Parking is a bit if a pain and not a fan of the wide open bathroom but overall would recommend.

The bed sheets had hair and stains on them and the bedspread also had stains. The sheets were all wrinkled. We could tell the sheets had not been changed after the previous customers had left the hotel. The sink was slow to drain. The situation was very upsetting, We were unable to reach any staff to make a complaint. The telephone in the room was not working, Unfortunately, we will not be returning to the Metro Hotel.

When I checked in I was met with attitude. I am a seasoned global traveler. I've learned to tolerate much but 20-something attitude is not acceptable anywhere at anytime. My room was never serviced during my stay. Was I being punished for confronting attitude? I chose this hotel because it was boutique, not like all the hotels I stayed in around the world. I didn't choose it because it was cheap. I didn't expect much but I didn't expect to be treated in such an offhand way. People in the hospitality industry should learn something about hospitality. I will never return to this hotel.

Difficult to find and you have to pay extra for parking. Room itself was nice.

To start off we really impressed with our room. The room was very big and very nice. Really enjoyed the modern feel, decor and design. Room was much different than most traditional hotel rooms.Great downtown location. The building could use some repairs. Check in area had huge water damage staining on roof. Did not give the best first impressions. Hallways and other area seemed a bit beat up also. No parking site is a downfall. Would stay again.

Easy check in and check out. Super comfy beds, great pillows, spacious room. The staff were lovely, helpful, and so responsive. My only suggestion is to stop using air fresheners in the common areas in consideration of scent-sensitive folks.

Spacious room, kind staffs, nice amenities, discounted parking offer. Everything was worthy to stay! Looking forward staying again soon!

The room was nice but they put $150 hold on my card even though I paid for the room in advance and it wasn’t $150. There is no front desk staff at night, kind of creepy. The code did not work at the back door like they said it would. Probably wouldn’t return but we slept good.

Hotel Metro still haven’t returned my room deposit, now they are saying that they may keep the deposit because there was a stain on the bed sheet. I was told at the front desk I would get my deposit back within 24hrs my stay wason Feb 5/26 and today is Feb 10/26 I’ve been trying to speak with the manager, I’ve called several times and no one has called me back. I’m worried I won’t get my deposit back and would like hotels.com to contact them on my behalf

We had a great stay at Hotel Metro for our anniversary this week. The hotel is super close (literally across the street) from both the covent garden market, the Canada Life place and a variety of shops / restaurants, and anywhere else we wanted to go within downtown was easily walkable from the hotel. The whole hotel looks and smells clean, with a very cute and cozy lobby and friendly, accommodating staff. We felt very safe at this hotel with the doors locking each night at 7pm, it ensured that the hotel was secure and helped to bring us extra peace of mind within a busy area of the city. The staff here go above and beyond to provide guests with a pleasant and comfortable experience, and it definitely took our trip the extra mile. We would absolutely visit again, and as locals we feel that this is one of the best hotels available in downtown London Ontario
