Wonderful hotel building and facilities

Best place to stay in Ascona. Best location and super clean. Friendly staff. Would come back here!

Outstanding all around. Great breakfast, and the hotel restaurant is on the lakefront. Reception person was very helpful with planning a hiking trip in Vale Versasca

That we are staying in castle..our room is nice..we sleep well.

Room wasn’t ready on arrival at 3pm, but we were happy to walk along the parade until it was ready. Location is fantastic and the building is charming. Air conditioning was noisy so hard to sleep with it on. Pillows didn’t provide enough head support. Would bring your own or ask for more.

The location of this hotel is just great as it is right in the Main Street where all the restaurants are, and the ferry, plus it is lake front. The hotel is old as expected but well maintained, it is definitely an experience to stay in the last room of the tower which has the best view from all. The only problem is that to get to the room you have to take stairs very narrow and go up about two-three floors more after using the elevator up to certain point. The parking IS NOT free, there is a fee that you will be charged at check out!! Unable to use the pool as the weather was cold and they do not heat the water after mid April or so... I find this very disappointing. The breakfast was ok, fruits, cereals, cheeses, ham, salami, juices, coffee, yougurts and variety of breads. The price is too high but I guess it Is ok for one time in life to experience one of its rooms.

The hotel Castello Seechloss was exactly as we hoped. Perfect location on the lake promenade, beautifully restored castle, and super friendly and helpful staff. Ascona, and the Castello has all the charm of Italy with the efficiency of Switzerland. Only way our stay could have been better was if our room overlooked the lake and had a balcony- will definitely request that next time!

Great location. The room was smallish but comfortable. The Castello restaurant was lakeside and the cuisine excellent.

My wife fell in love with me all over again just for picking this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and romantic. It is right on the lake and our room had a view of the lake. Everything was just amazing. Breakfast was included and it was wonderful. Only couple of minor things to remember. The internet in the room was extra. Considering the caliber of the hotel and the price, this should have been included. They did offer free internet in the lobby of the hotel or free use of their computer which was nice. The room did not have AC. We ended up leaving the window open to get some fresh air and bring down the room temperature.

Wir haben unsere Aufenthalt in den Schloss sehr genossen. Es ist sehr schön, Top modern und die Lage in einmalig. Ich habe vergessen zu melden dass meine Schwester eine Gehbehinderung hat und die Treppen für Sie eine Herausforderung sind aber das Personal hat uns unglaublich geholfen und haben eine gutes Zimmer angeboten. Vielen herzlichen Dank. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
