Near the subway, easy to travel anywhere around. Hotel facilities are old, smelly or even broken (bathroom). Room is quite small and old decorations with some smell.

I don't stay in many 4 star or 4.5 star hotels, so this was a treat. Lots of room, awesome Queen size bed, little things like a DND sign you can set from the bed, glass panels for the shower & toilet add an extra level of intimacy. (I was sure this hotel advertised a tub, but none was available) Couldn't access via the front of the building for the first two days and had to use the service entrance (couldn't leave as I'm not a Chinese national and my background couldn't be checked, for first night due to there being a Gov't conference that wasn't booked when I booked)

If there were any problems with this hotel they were minor enough that I don't remember them. I was expecting to be the only westerner staying here, but was thrilled to arrive at a lobby full of couples from the U.S. with their newly-adopted children. One of the concierges, Mr. Zhang, who helped me buy a train ticket, was especially courteous and friendly, and made me feel at home there.

On a recent visit to China I stayed in four hotels, this being the last. In the previous three hotels I was very pleased with what I found: good food, extremely comfortable beds and convenient extras such as bottled water. My expectations from the online information were met or exceeded. However, this hotel was a disappointment. The spa bath I expected from the information was non-existent, the beds were quite literally rock-solid, bottled water was not provided and the food from the Western menu was dreadful. Overall it's a reasonable hotel but should not be rated any higher than 3 stars; there as far better hotels available for the same expense.

Staff was very helpful in making some travel arrangements for me after having some scheduling changes for upcoming meetings throughout China. The staff completed some thorough research and diligently followed up with several options that solved my travel needs. Hotel is very nice, clean and neat. Staff was attentive in all aspects of service during my stay.

I stayed 3 nights. The room was big (actually huge, comparing to Japanese hotels!), very comfortable, clean and had complete amenities. I tried the evening buffet and it was good. Also, housekeeping was quick to respond. Staff is nice and polite but don't speak much English. However, Internet connection was extremely slow or useless at times. I tried to contact the hotel prior to my arrival through the email address shown on their website, but they never replied. I think it is no longer working. Walking passed the parking lot there was a permanent sewage smell, very disgusting. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great. We had problems with the reservation, however, that caused a great deal of anxiety. It seems that the hotel did not receive any information from the online reservation company, so we waited for over a 1/2 hour while the very kind women behind the counter made numerous calls to work things out. Thankfully, eventually they were able to get us a room.

As per expedia.com hotel has pool/fitness center and rec room. Unfortunately all were closed due to a renovation- I guess the hotel neglected to advertise this. I am usually ok with not having these comforts but with the cold weather/ and pouring rain in Wuhan it would have been nice to have. Would not have booked the hotel if we had known. The location of the hotel is along a busy street (downright scary to cross if your not use to it) and not near much to do without taking a taxi (and in Wuhan its not easy finding a taxi!).

I stayed for 5 nights. In the area there are 2 bigger hotels, White Rose and Hon San "Red Mountain". This review is for the white rose: The pool was under renovation as of May 2012. The hotel lists a lot of features and restaurants, but due to the location of the hotel, most of them are not functioning due to lack of volume (i.e. night club, spa, the non-main floor restaurants, except for local government conventions). The room is not very large, and the hotel is not catered for westerner's per-say. It's main user base is Chinese, and because it is a nicer hotel they also try to attract foreign guests. Unless you are doing business or something close by and want this location (then this is a good choice), it's worth a few more dollars to have a nicer hotel in one of the more downtown areas. Would say by western standards this is a 3 star hotel.

There is some construction going on nearby that effected the driveway and parking. Otherwise, the hotel and staff were wonderful.
