It was absolutely amazing... Beautiful views, clean neat and service was excellent. Be aware of the steps if you are staying at one of the top chalets. No complaints at all...

Amazing views, amazing experience. Falling asleep to the constant hum of the ocean, the best sleep I’ve had all year.

The place is amazing with all of the comforts one could possibly want. The staff are also amazing and went out of their way to help in every possible way. The location is also extremely convenient with wonderful views. I highly recommend Boardwalk Lodge - self-catering and will definitely be coming to stay again.

Love the views. Breakfast sufficient but not wonderful. Staff is good. Rooms are comfortable and welcoming. Would recommend that they put in mirror in room

Lovely area and views, a very short walk into the little town. Friendly staff. The room smelt musty but otherwise everything was fine.

the hotel was really poor for what it advertises. the room is old and the furniture looks like it has not been refreshed in ages. the whole hotel is very old. location is great though. but was really bad was that the wifi is capped at 250 megs per day, which you reach in five minutes of use, and then no more wifi - and they advertise free wifi! same for breakfast, you gotta pay for a cappuccino. so overall given the price, not to be recommended, justo go to backpackers place same service but much cheaper!

Lovely clean neat room. Only downfall was the shower in the bath. Beautiful views from the patios. Worth the stay.

Overpriced and should not 4 star rating. The property is in need of upgrading. Furniture and fittings are showing much wear and tear. Did not come into contact with staff apart from checking in and out so cannot comment on service.

Located handily for the most popular spot in Wilderness (map of Africa viewpoint) you get lovely views of the ocean dron the lodges. Also close to decent restaurants and seemed to be a safe enough area to walk about in.

spacious but it was the only place I felt cold

Loved the setting and the staff. Just a bit difficult carrying suitcases up the flights of steps to your room, yet once there absolutely great. Also, easy downhill walk into town to restaurants and beach but all uphill on the walk back. If you are driving, no problem at all. Breakfast was very good, views stunning, rooms very private.
