Dated property. No elevator. Average breakfast not refilled items so cold eggs and bacon. Bangs and chips in walls and corners.

It was a nice location and a nice room. The bathroom was a little dated, and for older people there was no elevator and those steep Dutch stairs. The price was reasonable.

There were 3 female staff who where very helpful. The male staff were polite but without the help of the female staff were unable to help me. At first I was told there were no ironing facilities and on asking the manager an iron and ironing board were found. There are two floors and NO LIFT. Anyone with mobility problems would not be able to stay here. The hotel is far from the town centre and you will need a taxi. The taxi service they use do not have a metre and make up the taxi fare so haggling is useful. The best thing to do is ensure the hotel staff ask the cost of the journey so the taxi driver has little room to ask for extra. The quality of food and drink is poor. Don't ask for a cocktail as corners are cut. The food has little flavour. The menu stated the nachos come with avocado and cheese. The latter appeared to be flavoured sauces and there was no real cheese. There was telephone in the room and the safe was broken. A very expensive place for poor quality.

No elevators, no air conditioning, don’t go there, if you have trouble climbing stairs. Expedia should have warned.

The location of the property was excellent. The television didn't work in my room. Some of the staff in dealing with certain difficulties made me feel that I was a burden to them.

The best thing about this hotel is the location just a short walk to a fabulous beach with bars and restaurants . Although we were there for business it looked like a great location for cycling

The location of the hotel is wonderful, a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Excellent marked walks through the woods and dunes. The rooms are good but the bathrooms not user friendly. Towel rail 2.5 metres high no shelves in or out of the shower. Just nowhere to put anything except the floor. No lift. Breakfast adequate but nothing special. Lovely outdoor space for an evening drink.

Overall a good hotel to rest, very close to the sea. A place to relax and have good food. However, two things which I found odd. First no soap, not even shower gel. Why? And second is the towels, partly smell fresh partly has a rotten smell. Maybe they were not dried correctly. But otherwise not a bad place to be.

Hotel is far from public area. Night is scary but overall hotel is clean and well maintained. I had problems with mobile network in the area, the breakfast was good.

The hotel is in a nice location by the beach, but I was staying for a business meeting so didn't get the opportunity to see it. The breakfast was good and staff helpful. However, the room I stayed in (110) was incredibly noisy and I could hear talking and noise from other rooms late into the night.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location. The beach is 5 minutes down the road. Would be nice if they added mini fridges into the bedrooms.

Great stay for family and great to be able to hire bikes directly from the hotel. Several towns in near proximity to cycle to.
