Fantastic value for money and a wonderfull set of staff very friendly and helpfull throughout the stay

The parking is ideal for work vans lots of spaces available the suites I have stopped in are great with a living area a bedroom and wetroom with a balcony the bar and resturant staff have gone above and beyond to make you feel at home with no bad atmosphere felt .All round a enjoyable stay will be recomending and stopping here again 😊

Room was nice , shower was good . All round perfect for my needs and parking was handy

A great place to stay in the heart of Norwich, stayed for a friends wedding and all was fabulous !!

Unfortunately there was a wedding on at this venue on a Thursday night, the music was banging til midnight and then the noise of the wedding guests went on for longer. I’ve nothing against this but when staying away for work I think the hotel should advise when booking as then I would have choose elsewhere. Also the view of the roof was awful and the windows are so old they don’t harbour any noise!

A good stay at Oaklands. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was good, perhaps could do with a deep clean in places and breakfast was ok. Not a great deal of choice at breakfast - e.g. no cereals, fruit, pastries etc... The cooked breakfast however was nice.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff and delicious breakfast

I only stayed here for a couple of nights but found it to be a nice hotel in quiet and pleasant surroundings. Friendly, courteous staff, clean and comfortable rooms, as well as delicious breakfast. Well recommended!

Booked dinner at this hotel because they said they had multiple menu items for allergy issues! Turned out they hadnt. Really well dealt with on the night by two excellent members of staff. Rooms were better in the hotel - our 'suite' was a little tired. Breakfast and lady who served it was fantastic. An Ipswich win made the stay more enjoyable.

Rude staff on front desk, very unhelpful & patronising. Noisy rooms and always a loud / late party or wedding going on every time i stay here. Smelly rooms and just a very sad experience.

great breakfast

Such a lovely stay. The whole staff (every role ) were amazing. They all worked so hard over Christmas. We didnt want to leave. Will definitely be going back. Loved it.

The beds were extremely squeaky. Poor soundproofing between rooms. The shower head holder was broken so you had to hold it yourself whilst showering. They had tried to repair it with tape. Black mould on the tiles around the bath. The tap on the bathroom sink ran very slowly when switched to cold. The corridor carpets were dirty. The hotel had a general air of being run down and in need of updating. The receptionist on arrival was not particularly helpful or welcoming. Drinks were very expensive in the bar.

Staff friendly and good room

Staff friendly room was comfy. Pillows were great. Only downside was drawers were dirty (this is where the hairdryer was located) and there was no parking at the property I was sent to (I was not in the main hotel but in a house with rooms on the main road). There were 3 spaces which were full so I had to park on the main road and my wing mirror was clearly hit as it was inwards in the morning.

Helpful staff and comfortable bed. Not a bad distance from Norwich City if you fancy a walk in. Breakfast was OK but could be better. We had a wedding on the day we stayed that we were not informed of, however, music was off by 12.

Parking is easy Food is very good and friendly helpful staff

It's a very expensive room, which was dirty and uncomfortable. Unfortunately there was also music running late into the night. I would only advise staying here if you are part of a wedding/party happening on the premises.
