So , we arrived and got the keys to our room , we opened the door and what can only be described as really run down springs to mind but we just wanted to sleep after our long drive . The bed was really uncomfortable we could feel every spring . At around 530 am we were woken after trying to sleep in an uncomfortable bed by people coming down the stairs, laughing and joking about . Early morning we had water marks appearing on the walls, breakfast was ok but nothing to shout about . We then we to reception and showed the lady behind the desk pictures of the wall paper and how we were woken up at the early hours of the morning. She was really apologetic and said that we would be moved if wanted into another room. The new bedroom was a lot nicer the bed definitely more comfortable, Overall the hotel need a lot of work spending on it really old looking inside looks like an old people’s home is probably the only way I could describe it. We will definitely not be using it again in the future.

Stayed in room 4 which was clean and spacious. The staff were so accommodating and pleasant with great service for breakfast and evening meal. Really nice food and the Poretti on draught was spot on. thank you stuart

Ok the convector heaters in the room are awful. Get central heating. In the summer with no air conditioning will be horrendous

It would have been great to have been told that the bar, restaurant and the whole village is basically closed during this week in January. In addition the room was freezing cold despite the best efforts of two wall mounted electric heaters. No breakfast available

Wasn’t expecting to have an overnight stay but the price with breakfast included was too good to refuse. Once arrived at the hotel, there was very friendly staff and an affordable dinner with good options. Room was comfy but admittedly elderly furnishings. But, breakfast was beyond expectations with a full cooked & continental included. Would recommend!

The friendly and welcoming staff, particularly Alex, made my experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was freshly prepared and served hot, which was a great start to my day. Manager on the desk went out of his way to make up for the fact that I 1. Missed breakfast on day 01 as I didn’t realise breakfast was included 2. I didn’t get much sleep on the first night due to a very noisy person above my room late at night & early in the morning. He straight away moved me to a better , bigger double room and got chef to do me a cooked breakfast to go and even. Packed lunch ! Would definitely stay again :)

Nice hotel good food and staff.

This was my first time in this hotel, booked with hotels.com. This hotel was very clean, well maintained, and its staff was very friendly and helpful. I had booked a single room for 3 nights. I had booked a single room. The room was clean with all amenities. What let the room and the hotel down spectacuarly was the thinness of the wall and the noise coming from room 19 next door, with door banging and shouting atvall hours. But manager kindly moved me to a quieter room on the second night.

Great location and good breakfast, a coyple of isdues with cleanliness of room but not to much of an issue, a lot of noise from upstairs room but overall a good stay
