This place is very clean, loved the water and green outdoors, pools are big and clean

Beautiful ocean view - barely any seaweed! (sept 2025) Staff was not only helpful but an absolute joy. Food was pretty good too - buffet was at times better than the special restaurants but the smokehouse restaurant here is 10/10. i will 100% be back.

I truly, enjoyed staying at the Iberostar Tucán. I have stayed at multiple all inclusive hotels throughout the years. But this hotel has to be one of the Best, The buffet is so fresh and so much to choose from. The daily live entertainment is as good as Vegas. There is grilled food prepared daily on the beach, the Eco hotel is beautiful, with variety of animals, monkeys, peacocks, etc. I will definitely return.

Amazing resort especially for families. Staff extremely friendly, rooms clean, lots of activities and wildlife to check out. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again

Must visit! This property is beautiful staff is attentive and friendly. Place is so clean and activities and shows daily. OMG and the food!

Will be going again

First of all, visit the place and form your own opinion. Quite a few reviews were not favorable. But I decided to give this place a try, and boy, am I glad I did. The place was immaculate , and considering how enormous this resort is, that is no mean feat. From the moment we entered the lobby( there are 2 by the way), I fell in love with the place. Staff were so polite and friendly. Dining options were plenty. Some reviews said the rooms were dated, but the rooms we were put up in were pretty good. And clean. The beach was clean. A few weeds here and there which were not much of a problem. A shout out to Aarti who went above and beyond and welcomed us. The only con would be the limited parking spots. We had to drive around a few times before we found 2 spots. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. Would definitely return as well as recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful property with kind, attentive staff. Our rooms were spotless each day and the grounds are gorgeous. We enjoyed every meal and had top notch service at each restaurant. Beach had some sargassum but the resort seemed to be constantly working to remove it. Only suggestion- our rooms were far from breakfast locations and it would’ve been nice to at least have coffee available closer to beach area.

Great family destination. We were pleased with the food offerings and activities. It was fun to see the wildlife wandering around the resort. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Food was amazing, the choice of restaurants is fantastic, such variety. Resort with the jungle in the middle was great, we had peacocks walking around us on the beach and at the pool! It’s a beautiful place. Rooms are nice, balconies shaded but slightly dated. Staff are cleaning, painting and gardening all the time keeping the resort at its best. Only let downs were the sun beds are all reserved very early and the staff accept money to reserve them for you. The people next to us one day paid $100 to reserve for 2 weeks. It’s poor. Also, the resort ‘credit’ you receive is actually 25% discount when you spend $100! No kids entertainment in the nights and some things are payable. We would recommend but wouldn’t return due to the sun beds.

I liked everything except the beach was loaded with see weed and i believe it could have been kept cleaner

I did not like anything as soon as we checked in they trying to sell you stuff it was overcrowded. The beach was dirty would not go back ever.

We had a room that was with an ac not working properly. It was reported multiple times, with us actually walking into the room with maintenance checking it and told us it was working fine. To our surprise it was actually hotter that night. The day before we left the manager came to our room and it was indeed not working. Out of our entire stay we had one night of ac. When checking out we were then greeted with a manager and promised we would receive an email with upgrades and ways to try and rectify our stay. Here we are almost a week later with no email. Even after me emailing them as a follow up. This was our 3rd time to stay at an Iberostar property. Unfortunately, possibly our last. Outside of this we had another issue - a worker found my son’s yeti cup and was using it. Sons fault for loosing it but that shows your staff do not turn things into lost and found. We made the most of our stay and enjoyed the people we came with as well as the beach, pool, food and drinks. We had 5 rooms at the resort. 1 other had ac problems as well. They were disappointed as well.

Perfect time

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Iberostar Tucan, but there are a few things to be aware of. The rooms are quite outdated — some of the light fixtures didn’t work, and there were very few power outlets, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great: the territory is well-maintained, and the overall experience was positive.
