Hotel was very tidy, the rooms were clean, and a short walk into town

Hotel was ok to the standard expected

From start to finish the stay was great. We arrived early on our bikes and they allowed us early access, and we could store the bikes safely. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfy, and whisper quiet. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town.

Listed as having a restaurant, it should say dining area and choice of frozen foods which we can microwave for you. Breakfast was ok. Tea and coffee in room had no milk supplied and when enquired were told we could get some out of the vending machine. The bar consisted of a few bottles in a fridge in the same vein as the restaurant

3 stars The room was small and felt a bit cramped. Parking was not free, and the spaces were both limited and very tight, which made it hard to park. The hotel was also hard to find, located in an area with narrow streets that made driving tricky. Not the easiest place to stay, but okay if you don’t mind these challenges

Hotel was great and staff were brilliant.

The hotel has a lovely reception and lounge area that lead out to a well kept patio and lawn. The lounge also serves as the breakfast area. The staff were excellent - very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was quite plain and not particularly big but the bed was a good size and very comfortable. There were facilities to make coffee but paper cups and no tea and no milk, which you had ask for at reception. The parking was limited - 2 small areas with one free to park and the other behind a locked gate, for which you paid €12 a night. Felt like a safe area and easy 20 minute walk into the centre of La Rochelle.

The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

The staff at reception was good but the cleaning not very good as the previous clients left a cotton buds under my bed which I found out!! It's not in central La Rochelle!!
