Comfortable and relaxing, really nice bed, close to the town centre but quiet (a bit noisy on Saturday night but no big deal) adjacent to a lovely park. Aberdeen itself is wonderful, great architecture, museums and a nice beach

Great discovery. Very conveniet city centre location in a quiet characterful granite square. Straightforward to get in and out of the building/room. Excellent cleaniness and value for money.

It was the cleanest apartment we have ever stayed in. The main town is just around the corner. Very comfortable bed. Apartment had everthing we needed. Highly recommend.

Staff was responsive to service requests. Room and bath was nice. We went here because of a kitchen. Oven did not work. It took 7 days to fix. After 6 days we asked for another room, but oven was fixed next day. Microwave and stove were good. Manager was rude and condescending. We asked for a rebate but none was offered.

Great value, central, comfortable accommodation. Bathroom looking a little tired in places, but other than that perfect stay and excellent value for money. Would recommend for short stop overs in Aberdeen!

The building is in a cosy square just off the buzz from Union Street. Very convenient located, easy to find and within walking distance from all the landmarks in Aberdeen. Communication throughout was very effective. As soon as my booking was confirmed I was contacted about my check-in time. As I would arrive outside their check-in time, there was someone waiting for me when I got to the property and all the instructions were passed on to me. The flat was spectacular! Very comfortable bed, good linen, powerful shower, spacious living room/kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped with all your basics and they even provide you with tea bags, coffee and milk jiggers. There was also a cruet of salt and pepper and washing up liquid. Wine classes, tin opener, cups, plates, pots and pans. All there. The area is quiet and a good night sleep is certainly guaranteed. I'll definitely stay in the Craibstone Suites again.

Vrbo verified review

The epitome of expectation versus reality... We booked based on the photos of the room we were supposedly getting, the so called “grand executive suite with balcony” it’s more like a box room with a balcony, a bog standard hotel room really... not worth the grandeur of the name and falsely advertised, apparently using all the best photos of all the different rooms making it look like the room you get will have all the best features. We booked the room due to the balcony in the photos on Vrbo only to find out we didn’t have a balcony...??? This was remedied after paying an additional £10 per night fee directly to the reception for the privilege of having a balcony... which we already thought we were getting... the balcony was in fact the only thing we liked about the room, the room was small cramped and unwelcoming with dated furniture. Glad we did get the balcony in the end because that room on its own would have been very drab. We suggest the management take some responsibility and ensure that what is advertised on 3rd party websites and apps are accurate to their particular rooms offered. Not worth the money we paid.

Our stay was great, we were in the basement apartment which suited us fine. There was a couple of things which required attention, holes in bath towels and shower door seal needing replaced. We did find that the £75.00 deposit is rather high and it did take 4/5 working days to be refunded back to my credit card.

Great service from the minute we arrived. The room we got was perfect for our needs, it was nice and clean and the fridge/cupboards were well stocked with the essentials. The hotel was in a great location, a short walk from the city centre and in a nice quiet street which was ideal for my son to get a good nights sleep without being disturbed. Would recommend this location to others and look forward to returning in the future.
