Large comfortable rooms, good dining options, excellent staff, nice beach, comfortable sunbeds. We went end June/early July and it was lovely weather, but my wife & I both caught a sickness virus that lasted 24-48 hours & we were told that allegedly there was a sickness virus going around the island. We found several other people at the hotel who had also had the same symptoms.

The staff were incredible, especially Ovidu and Alfredo at front desk. Although it seems like there are a lot of pools, there really aren’t unless you have your own swim up. Drink services at the beach would have been nice. The food was good with a large variety. The rooms were really spacious and spotless.

I don’t think this is a 5 stars hotel with the food and drinks quality they deliver.

Swimming pools everywhere, direct access to a quiet beach, excellent food, rooms, service. Tennis courts. The staff were friendly. 5 minute drive into town if you have a car or €10 taxi. Great spa, ok gym. Regular live music some of which was really excellent. They know how to make a good cocktail too.

Great staff and facilities. Nice rooms. We had a swim up room. Only slight negative was the water in the pool was too cold Good breakfast too

We stayed in a superior shared pool room which was amazing !! Room 501 had the biggest pool which we stayed in highly recommend . Staff lovely , weather lovely but kardamena town really quiet and a bit run down . Town not within walking distance (taxi €10 each way or €1.80 on bus ) No entertainment in hotel so quite boring at night .

I stayed here with my boyfriend w/c 26th June for a week, the whole week was faultless, from checking in right through to checking out. We stayed in a double deluxe room in the quiet part of the hotel (Room 206) it was spacious, clean and bright, we had our towels changed and room cleaned everyday. Thank you to the cleaners/maids. We chose to stay B&B, morning breakfast from 7am - 10am was in the main resturuant with some fantastic views, if you wanted to sit on the terrace then yes you may needed to wait a while for a table but this was never a long wait, there were more than enough tables/space inside which was fully air con'd, breakfast was good, had ample selection and catered for everyone, food was replenished quickly and as often as needed. The only negative I have is that the hot food was never hot enough, luke warm, by the time you got back to your table, it was pretty much cold. We chose to try the food in the main resturuant on our first evening at a cost of 22EUR pp, this was a buffett style and again had ample selection but was luke warm/verging on cold. For the rest of our stay, we went into Kardemena town for dinner, there is a local bus stop at the bottom of the road and at a cost of 1.80EUR each way can get you there in 10-15 mins.. Good tip if you want to save the 10EUR each way in a taxi Kardemena town is lovely, small, beautiful and quaint, lots of tiny family run shops for presents, local bars and plenty of fantastic resturuants, we tried somewhere

We stayed in the villa for 3 weeks for my mother's 80th birthday celebration. It was wonderful! I had been to the hotel 4 years earlier. The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful, modest, kind, and friendly. The help and respect that they showed my mother, especially Yiannis, Fotis, Stavros, and forgive me for not remembering all the drivers names but they were all wonderful to us. Also in the spa, Ivanna was amazing and the front desk especially Maria, Jionnas, and quality manager Maria as well. Anything we needed, they were there. The cleaning staff also, really good to us. Always clean towels, friendly, helpful, as well as the pool staff, and Ercay. The dinner staff as well, both in a la Carte and at the buffet, were exceptionally lovely to my mother. I couldn't have asked for more. Now, Because I love the hotel so much and want to come back, I want to suggest some improvements. Private pool villa: Room notes: Private pool not so private!! Open to main area and trees not so think in corner (children came onto our patio one day and tried to come inside.) The wall by pool also has 3 squares cut into it. If you want to sunbathe nude in privacy, you cannot. In the villa, it would be great to have a larger size refrigerator, in kitchen. It is very much needed. There were too many small ants. Patio curtains make TERRIBLE screeching noise in the wind!! Washing machine, dishwashing soap, a wall clock, door stopper missing... small details but would be great!

Stayed only for 5 days but looking back at it, we should have stayed longer. Overall a really good place to enjoy a relaxed and elegant holiday

One of the best hotel in kos it was really nice to be there

This is our second time at Helona. The relaxation sets in the minute you reach the reception. Care and smiling faces inject happiness even in the most stressed souls. Eventhough it was full, you don't feel the crowd because of the many pools and big beach. Food is perfect,don't even think of eating anywhere else.

Perfect private beach with 5 minutes walking path and many pools.

On arrival we noticed it was not a hilton hotel as we booked on hotels.com. It is just helona hotel a discontinued hilton hotel. The hotel was great and all. When we checked in the asked for are credit card as all hotels. We pre paid are hotel from hotels.com. So when check out was time we left the hotel to catch a flight. The hotel called are cab back for a 18 euro bill that was at the pool bar. We were really upset about this almost missing a flight. For info they had taken on are credit card that like every hotel charges when u leave as most ppl do. That's why they hold a deposit and take the info for a reason.

Beautiful location, relaxing, thoroughly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing, quiet break.
