Single room was small but had a fridge, modern deco and excellent air conditioning. TV did not have a good picture with interference. Of the three lights in the room only one was working. Only one available wall socket for charging phone etc. Infront of the window was an air conditioning unit which buzzed and hummed throughout the day and evening. It didn't switch off until late at night. Breakfast was very good with ample choice. The pool area was nice but limited number of sunbeds avaiable. It was possible to use the pool after check out which was a big plus. Some noise from street but more so from other guests slamming doors and shouting. The hotel is in an excellent location. For a two night stay it was fine but I would not want to stay any longer than that. With a few negatives as mentioned above for the price it was good value.

I stayed at this hotel with my mom, and we had an absolutely awesome time! The entire place was very clean, and the location is absolutely perfect for getting around. What really stood out to us was the great customer service—every single employee we encountered always had a smile on their face and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely come back another time. Highly recommended!"

The Good: Excellent service by all staff. Good size room that although basic, was clean with a lovely seaview balcony. Breakfast adequate. Great location in Salou near the seafront. The Let Downs: Bad smell in bathroom (drains or sewage system?)and when air con on. Only one available plug socket. Overall: Despite the odour in room, the hotel offered a very pleasant stay in an ideal location.

Based on the mixed reviews I thought long before booking this hotel. However, very glad I did. Spotlessly clean throughout the hotel, basic but very comfortable rooms. Breakfast is basic but enjoyable. The terrace is very good - probably the high point. Staff were mixed, some lovely some a little more grumpy, but this is often the case anywhere you go. I took my Dad abroad for the first time in 40 years as we lost my Mom last year - so thanks to Hotel Planas for a great stay :)

The service was terrible, were rude and came across unhelpful when there was a bad smell from our room and not a double bed they said they couldn’t do anything about it and as soon as we said we would like to complain offered us another room.

Arrive at the hotel and was able to begin my check in ready for the room to be ready. Room was clean and tidy and just what you need for your hols. Shower was really powerful. Bed were comfortable. We had breakfast as part of our booking and we certainly weren’t disappointed, food range and amount was plentiful and definitely set us up for the day. Pool and bar area were spotless. Loved our stay her.

Good stay, enjoyed how central was to walk to shops/beach/ restaurants but still outside main part

Very central location, close to beach and harbour. If people leave a towel on a sunbed Breakfast was disappointing, should be better choice of fruit not just apples and tomatoes, mushrooms or similar to cater for vegetarians. Too many sweet things. If something is left on a sunbed when not occupied, it should be removed by staff after 30 mins.No saving..

Very nice room and everything was clean and well kept. Enjoyed the dining options at the restaurant. Easy walk for shopping and dining out and great views. Staff was amazing.Parking is a major issue if you have to park somewhere and elevator was out for awhile.

Vriendelijk onthaal en heel behulpzaam, ontbijt ok. Maar avondmaal matig tot zwak klein buffet met weinig keuze. Kamer en bad kamer proper.

Habitación grande camas muy cómodas Baño perfecto terraza vistas al mar el buffet de desayuno muy completo y el de la cena poca variedad pero todo muy bueno los camareros muy simpáticos y agradables

Es una pena que con la ubicación,tan excelente que tiene el comedor sea a veces un desastre,poco para elegir ,muy repetitivo, muchos días faltaban huevos, agua mantequilla arroz ,porque según decían no les habían llegado ,el agua carísima 2'50 un botellita pequeña ,mesas sin recoger y no te podías sentar en ninguna parte ,por suerte no ha sido siempre pero creo que el comedor necesita un mucho de organización, he de decir que la comida estaba rica ,en general pero a veces un auténtico caos y no había tanta gente.
