Incredible view of the lake from the balcony of a comfortable and spacious room. Great bed. We loved the spa with a panoramic view of the lake. We thought the breakfast was expensive at €22 a head for what was on offer.

Beautiful place and facilities but lacking service: Reception always empty, kitchen always closed, asked room service they never brought it to us, we went to the spa but sauna and hot steam were off and there were no towels… strange way to manage the hotel…

The hotel and staff are lovely. The views from the room and the terrace across the lake are incredible and very easy to get in to Laveno with free parking Mon to Fri (pay weekends). The ferry from Laveno to Intra is cheap and regular, and connecting to other ferries to other destinations is very easy and cheap. The breakfast offers much choice and the food from both restaurants on site is fabulous. La Tavola experience was amazing with dish after dish being impeccable in presentation and flavour. Highly recommend staying here.

Great location in Laveno. Our room faced the water and made for great sunsets. Nice bed and bathroom. The staff was pleasant. Parking was easy and we were only a few minutes from town and the ferry. The on-site restaurant is excellent. Breakfast, for a fee, was worth it.

This is a wonderful property with kind and very special owners. The food and service was so amazing. When I asked for a taxi to the train station - there were none available so they have a ride to the station! Above and beyond!

Amazing location ! It’s a bit hard to find but well worth the effort. A must treat is the foccocia by the beach right below the hotel

Such a beautiful little hotel right on the water! Spectacular views. Sparkling clean. Friendly and attentive staff. Complimentary parking. Delicious food downstairs. What more could you ask for?

Nice location; private but close to ferries so can take day trips to other towns. Food at the hotel was better than other places hands down. Wifi was a little complicated but eventually figured it out.

We loved the private and cool balcony with wonderful vistas across thd lake. We loved watching the coming and going of watercraft on the lake. We enjoyed the welcomes of the coot family and fish of the lake every morning. We were grateful for gluten free options and a lovely breakfast rach new morning. We loved the delicious, flavourful food which was created by fine food craftsmen. We were grateful for our little hire car to help with the tricky corner road nearby. We loved the style and ambiance of this beautiful hotel and recommend it to other travellers who want to enjoy Lake Maggiore and Italy with just a short hop, skip and jump to Switzerland too. We spent a week touring the high pass roads between Italy and Switzerland before a rest by this gorgeous Italian lake. Loved it!

Very clean and modern hotel with comfortable beds and beautiful views from the private balconies! It is slightly let down by the service side of things however, with service definitely not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant with stunning lake views. Only downside is that it is not very easily accessible by foot, as it is outside Laveno Mombello along a few hundred metres of road with no footpath.

Beautiful views of Lake Maggiore from our room. Our room and public areas are very clean. Leisure and enjoyable breakfast. We also ate two dinners at hotel. They were very good.

Tough one to evaluate. The check in was not great, seemed a bit amateurish. Was annoyed to find the room service as advertised was not available.BUT...and this is an important but, discovered that the hotel contains a Michelin starred restaurant, and found the lady owner to be extremely charming, super helpful on wine choice at dinner, food was exceptional. The hotel location is fabulous, small and quiet. I'll go back for sure. What they MUST Sonia inform incoming guests that is it a restaurant in demand and that they should book well in advance to get a table. And maybe up the room service menu a bit. I'd have loved to have dinner one evening on our private terrace.

Great position. But unfriendly and unhelpful. Good modern bedrooms. Osteria food ok expensive for what was served. Good parking.

Fantastic views across the lake to the North/West Extremely helpful staff with any minor problems resolved quickly We went out of season so quiet and peaceful but restaurant closed Tuesday-Wednesday.

Excellent location, right on the lake. Beautiful views from the balcony across the lake with the Alps visible in the distance. Lovely family feel to the hotel. Great breakfast too!

Really nice hotel. Views from the rooms are fantastic (the entire wall facing the lake is glass). Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to town, although about 200 meters of it is along a narrow road with no sidewalks … be careful in that section. Laveno Mombello is a quaint and picturesque town, much quieter than Stresa or Verbania. We stayed for 2 days and very much enjoyed it.
