Hotel is at very convenient location, just next to beach, bus centre and quite close to airport and railways stations too 15-20 min by drive. Hotel stay is friendly and some can speak English too. I enjoyed my stay here and recommend the private onsen bath as well which is open until 11 PM.

A 12th floor room with comfortsble chairs at the window gave us a stunning view of the beach and ocean as we enjoyed sundowners and early morning coffee. The staff don't speak much English, but do make a great effort to assist e.g we wanted to hire bikes and they came back with a response pretty quickly (cheaper to hire from the information office up a side street from Shirahama beach). Futon beds are folded out at night and put away in the morning. We didn't use the onsen but there are 3 options; our kids would have paid ¥1,500 each per day to use them. Kimonos and slippers are provided in the room..Very conveniently situated to the bus stop and an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. We'd go there again.

The hotel is well located, in between a beautiful beach (with white sand) and a bay which can be accessed through a lovely shrine garden. The hotel facilities are exceptional — with stunningly beautiful entrance and lobby with an internally flowing stream, several choices for baths, huge rooms, and exceptional service. (I stupidly left my ipad on the train and got it back with the help of the wonderful staff who bent over backwards for me.) Highly recommended.

Very delicious dinner buffet with lots of options, a bit crowded but acceptable. Room is nice and onsen is decent.

Great place to take the family. Japanese-style hotel about 1 minute walk from a beautiful, white beach with warm, clear water. A lot of fun things for the kids to do in the area in addition to playing in the ocean, including Adventure World and Sandanbeki Doukutsu, not to mention nightly fireworks at the beach..

If you carry big suitcase when walking out subway station, should take exit 3.2 (with elevator) instead of exit 6 as mentioned by hotel website.

A bit disappointed with the buffet dinner. Should mention on description that it's not traditional Japanese dinner.

love these place. hotel staff has very high standard of service, walk you to hotel parking lot, help with luggage, and recommend places for you to go. Been a while that there's a hotel we would like to go back and stay there again. and for just $3200yen, you can enjoy 45mins of a private onsen which is totally worth it.

Stayed because a great deal from Hotel.com. A little more of US100 for a partly ocean view room with two meals. Room is old and food is only fine. But the paid private hot bath is excellent and enjoyable.

When we check in, there was a little hassle as the staff could not find our booking. Fortunately I had my email confirmation printed out and we had our Japanese room to check in our luggage. A 10 tatami mat size, good for three of us. Our booking did not include food, so we had our dinner in one of the many café/restaurants within the vicinity of the hotel. The bus center is just across the road from the hotel. Walking to view Engetsu Island was just 5 mins walk from the hotel while Shirahama beach is also a few mins walk in the opposite directions. There are sign boards directing you to the two locations. There is also a local supermarket nearby with Daiso (100 yen shop) upstairs. It's the best place to shop as the locals do. The hotel's hot spring is adequate though we had been to larger ones. The hotel itself is larger comprising of three blocks but we did not explore much as we prefer to explore the outside. Around 6-8pm, the hotel staff will set up the futons in the room. You need not be in the room but my advise is to lock up or keep valuables away.
