Room was good and very clean had a issue with the window that wouldn't close correctly so had some road noise. Staff were bringing and couldn't do enough for you and made you feel very welcome food was brilliant and well cooked

We arrived soaking wet and didn't get a friendly welcome from the receptionist . She just told us our rooms were in the cottages near the entrance and handed over the keys sayig all informaion was in our rooms.. No warmth at all... We found our rooms to be groundfloor quite nice and beds were comfortable.. Unfortunately, there was loud creaking overhead as the people moved around upstairs.. It was very noisy and seemed to go on for hours. Also the traffic noise from the busy road was awful! The breakfast was fairly basic but ok. We would not return....

Amazing stay it has everything you would want in a hotel

Very basic rooms , tiny television, not a lot of room to move about and no air con. Rooms also back onto driving range so can hear the range

Always a good stay here, so convent to work, decent food/ WiFi Hotel of choice when working this way

Room was okay basic but ok, carpets in hallways very tired. Room was freezing cold on arrival

Tired room and no desk

i was allocated a room in an building seperate to the main hotel - located at the end of the lane. There is no lighting on the lane, after my evening meal in the hotel i had to navigate back to my room down a dark lane, full of potholes / puddles using only the torch on my mobile phone.

As always great stay for business, clean rooms, good WiFi and have TNT/Sky Sports, always my go to when am in the area

Asked if we could view the room before booking, but said we couldn't. Room was ok, but the kids bunk beds are in a cupboard without any window or ventilation. Soundproofing was non existent as the road noise was very loud and the neighbours. Other than that was ok, good water pressure and the beds were quite comfy

Overall my stay was good, the only thing I would criticise was the fact that the pillows were far too soft for me. The breakfast was to a very good standard, and was self service, so you had exactly what you wanted.

We had previously stayed at this hotel approximately 4-5 years ago. We felt the property looked tired and in need of a refresh.

Food and rooms were excellent. Stood at bar for 20 mins waiting on a drink whilst staff chatted in reception. Otherwise staff were pleasant and efficient!

Lovely

Perfect for what we needed it for which was a base to sleep. Plenty of parking, road was noisy but fine if you had windows closed. Air con was perfect as was very warm, beds were comfy. It was very clean but could tell it just needed a freshen up especially in bathroom. Staff were all very friendly, breakfast was okay - overall, great stay

Quite a poor experience sleep wise and not for the first time. On my first visit my room backed onto the driving range so I was stopped from having a nap by the permanent rumble of balls. This time there was what sounded like a toilet pump running every two or three minutes at quite a volume for the entirety of my stay in the room to the extent where I couldn’t sleep On the plus side the restaurant food and service were very good indeed
