A delightful place to stay from first arrival to exit. All were friendly and more than courteous. I stayed 12 days --will probably stay for at least a month next summer. I've no doubt that Claudia would have made sure that any issue was dealt with immediately but there really were no significant concerns at all. The rooms are simple but kept very clean. Absolutely great shower, lots of hot water. Has a full oven /stove and a refrigerator with cooking supplies. A microwave would have been more useful with so many affordable and fine places to eat. Wifi good enough to use for work & neflix. Just a 5minute walk to the beach. Near the hustle of Coco Bongo and 5th avenue yet I was never disturbed by noise. A lovely church across the street provided many evenings of pleasant music. Bring your own washclothes if they are a necessity but I lacked for nothing else. Never took a cab once while I was there. 7 mins to Walmart, 15 minutes from a great little gym, the 6th calle Evolve gym that the locals use which is a fraction of the cost of the gym by the beach. The new restaurant just opened on 12th, 50 yards towards 2oth is quite good as is the one across from Coco Bongo on the corner of 10th Ave and 12th. If you do choose to go to Coba, go on your own as while the tours are a good deal, they will rush you. If you're on a budget or not, do go to Donna Paula's on 6th between 10th &15th. 2 can eat grandly for 100 pesos. I could not imagine staying anywhere but El C next summer.
