I had a much better experience than I expected staying here. At first, I was a bit unsure because of some of the reviews, but it turned out to be a really great choice. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. My friend arrived really late at night, and they were still fully awake and ready to help us. They took care of everything very carefully, which I genuinely appreciated. The location is probably one of the best things about this place. It’s super convenient — I could walk to almost everywhere I wanted to go. Banthat Thong Road is nearby with lots of great food, and it’s also very easy to get to National Stadium. The surrounding area is lively, and having two 7-Elevens close by made everything even easier. I was also worried about cleanliness at first, but everything was perfectly fine. The water was clean, the bed sheets were fresh, and the room overall felt comfortable. I even brought my own filter but didn’t end up needing it at all. The only downside for me was that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and there were a lot of mirrors, which might not be everyone’s preference. For the price, this place is definitely worth it. The quality is much better than what you would expect for how affordable it is. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would come back again.

The foods were cold and egg was hard to eat. Found a cockroaches in the swimming pool, and I don't think anyone could called that a swimming pool since it seems more like a decoration. Too much old display, and it was musty smell when I was walking to my room.

I stayed at Diamond City Hotel Bangkok for 10 nights, and overall, my experience was rather disappointing. Although the hotel is located quite close to BTS Ratchathewi, which makes it easy to access various destinations in Bangkok, the condition of the hotel shows that it is an old hotel and needs renovation. I was placed in room 402 which faced the wall of another hotel building, a very unattractive view. The balcony of the room was also not well maintained, with a fragile roof and lots of empty bottles. In addition, every morning at around 9 am, there were repairmen repairing the roof, making the atmosphere very noisy and disturbing my rest. The corridors on each floor are also not equipped with air conditioning, which makes it feel very hot and stuffy, especially in the hot Bangkok weather. The elevator in this hotel also seems poorly maintained, with sudden movements that make it feel a bit scary every time I use it. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom is also inadequate. The ceiling of the room looked patched, and the bathroom was not cleaned perfectly. The mattress also felt less than soft, reducing the comfort of my sleep. Overall, Diamond City Hotel needs renovation. The hotel's location is indeed strategic, but with the poor condition of the facilities, I feel that this hotel does not provide value for money. I hope that the hotel management can improve and tidy up the existing facilities to improve the guest experience in the future.-

Although the facilities are not so excellent (I stayed in a superior room), I had a great experience here. I extremely appreciate the hotel staff's good attitude and willingness to assist customers from check in to check out. (The staff are truly welcoming and kind, from the receptionist to the room attendant). Another plus point is that the hotel is near 711, near BTS, near food streets (I quite like a milk tea cart near the hotel, it is located on 211 Soi Phetchaburi 10). If my relatives travel to Bangkok, I will recommend them to stay here 🫶.

Pleasant stay here while it's greatest pros is about the location close to shopping center like MBK Mall, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Jim Thompson, and also to BTS station which is only walking distance reach. You can enjoy local street food and convenient store like 7-11 nearby.

Overall I have nice stay. Location is good as it is nearby bts Ratchathewi and Muslim restaurants are walking distance.
