When we arrived, a man was standing in the entry area smoking. We had to cover our noses to enter, because it was so strong and I have a severe sensitivity to cigarette smoke. When we waited at the front desk, this same man came to check us in. Our room was okay, with the exception that the toilet seat was round and placed on an oval-shaped toilet bowl. Needless to say, you had to be very careful not to touch the bowl area. The bathtub was not cleaned. The broken soap bar was still on the tub, along with black mold on the tile adhesive. The bathroom door had a hole in it made by the room door handle. The next morning, we went to breakfast at 7:20 am (the breakfast started at 7:00) and all the containers and condiments were empty. There were a few people eating but several were looking for something to eat. I went to the desk and informed the clerk and he didn't say anything but was perturbed. No apologies, no comments, just stomped off. When he started slinging things into the containers and not replacing the lids, we left. A guest told me it was the same the day before. I reported the deficits to the same smoking clerk the next morning as we checked out, and he offered no apology but rather excuses. We paid $275 for the two-night stay and we will not stay there again. I advise others to go to the Holiday Express, north on Broadway.

Unorganized hotel, dirty,

Room was clean and comfortable. Property was understaffed. I felt bad for the front counter guy. Hire more people. Pool area was messy and no towels and the phone in our room didnt work. Breakfast was good. Sausage, eggs, biscuts and gravy, waffles and a variety of bread and cereal.

I was satisfied with the room.

Had to change rooms because it was clearly used after being cleaned. Showers didn’t work well.

Hotel was not clean. One towel in room for two people. Water pressure was non existent. Stains on carpets and furniture. Toilet was dirty from previous guest.

Stuff around the motel was clean, very dated though. Bare minimum. Pool area seemed as though we weren't to use it, no towels available, sauna not working. Staff was friendly and service was good.

The elevator was very dirty, sheets smelled like cleaning products, too much $ for that overall.

Pros: Fairly Quiet, Plenty Of Parking, Room Clean & Comfortable Cons: Carpets Stain Throuhout Hotel, Bathroom Sink Drain Clogged w/ Hair Drain Slow, Needed some Up Dating & Maintenace Work Done, Decaf Coffee At Breakfast Cold, Most Hot Breakfast Items Barely Warm

Easy to get to. Quiet. Decent people at Desk. Comfortable.

We booked the hotel for the pool and the sauna and neither one of them was open. Would have got another hotel had we known not when we called before we booked. They said they were operational.

We have stayed her over the years and updating should be done. The rooms were not clean but outside of the room was.

I stay at Comfort Inn everytime I go to Newton. All the employees are nice and friendly. I enjoy being there.

This place is completely mis-managed. There were so many lights burnt out in the stairwell that it was dangerous at night. It smelled like they were covering up a mold smell with air fresheners. The pool was "temproarily closed for maintenance" that was supposed to last "a couple of hours" that was from 5:30PM until 7:30AM the next morning. Not that I would have trusted to swim in it the way everything else was cared for. The filtered water cooler in the exercise room was flashing a light saying the filter needed changed, which I hadn't noticed until after I had drank from it and had to spit it out because it was terrible tasting. The area around the coffee station was filthy in the morning, as in day's worth of filth. The entire experience was awful. I wouldn't let anyone I care about stay in this hotel.

There was drunk dudes right outside my room, drinkin and pissin all over the place and listening to music very loud. But when I told the polite man at the front desk, he addressed it.

Lots of noise from other guests. Thin walls Good location. Friendly staff and good price

I liked the EV charging but a car was permanently parked in the space. Still managed to use it. The door key card was a problem and the staff was grumpy at reprogramming them and still one did not work and the seconded was tempermental.

Shower didn’t function well.
