Lovely stay on our way through Addo. Nice check in lovely room, nice surroundings.

Wonderful stay for 2 nights. Food is excellent, stuff super friendly and beautiful surroundings. Real time relaxation. We would highly recommend it.

Being out in the South African countryside was never going to be a 5 star experience but Addo African Home had its charms. Great people with excellent service, beautiful grounds. The rooms were decent but could have been cleaner and more updated. They provide water and tea daily for free. The restaurant is really good with fresh and super affordable options. The organic pool is basically a pond. We had a nice stay here.

This place is amazing. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant has great food. We had a wonderful full day tour of Addo with Alan. He went out of his way to show us animals and was very knowledgeable. We stayed in the lodge and I had a very nice room and use of kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back someday.

Traumhafte, weitläufige, artenreiche Anlage, schick und orginell eingerichtet mit einem entspannten, fairen Ambiente und das Essen im Molololo war extremst lecker (Französischer Koch betreibt dort eine Kochschule). Von den sechs Unterkünften, die wir in SA hatten und trotz durchweg guter Erfahrungen und somit toller Konkurrenz, zweifelsohne die Nummer eins auf unser Hitliste! Jederzeit wieder mit unseren Kids! Toller Ausgangspunkt für den Addo NP (gleich um die Ecke) und den angebotenen Picknick-Korb zum Mitnehmen dorthin, können wir auch empfehlen.

Excellent place to stay if you are visiting Addo Elephant Park, ticks all the boxes, and we were very grateful for the upgrade :)

Lovely property, close to Addo main gate, dinner at the restaurant was excellent and such a great concept and loved sitting around the fire and talking with staff & other guests later into the evening, night

perfect location to enjoy the nature and tranquility and to explore the addo national park. Big praise to the staff and to the restaurant!! Everything in everything was just perfect

Just amazing accommodation! I really don’t know, how to make this home better! 10 min to main entrance from the park, exquisit service, ao clean that you could eat from the floor... The breakfast really nice (special the healthy breakfast) and also the restaurant! Had one of the best steaks ever! We stayed in the tent and it was a real safari feeling! You will get candles and everything you need. The bathroom (one for every tent with a key so you are able to leaf your stuff in) is just ~15meter from the tent with a hot shower and everything else! Each „room“ has it’s own fridge, cutlery, plates,glases and so on in the kitchen(next to bathroom for tents)! Also a lot of sitting areas outside and a nice shared livingroom inside. Would always come back to this perfect place and can only recommend it! Ps.: yöu can book safari tours there or just go by yourself-if so: in the morning is the best time for it! Pps.:if it was raining the last days you probably will not see so much animals at Addo because they don’t use the waterholes than...but just be there at 6/6:30 and you wilö see lots!:) ) Ppps: there are no giraffs because of the fauna -just bushes no high trees Entrance fee for self driving at Addo( if you are not SA citizen) is around 600 for 2! No extra costs!

Fabulous classy individual and well run hotel. We stayed in one of the Rondveals which was great.Very near to Addo Elephant Park and they will organise a day Safari for you with Alan who was a fabulous host. The restaurant is also very special with superb home grown vegetables cooked and served to perfection! I recommend anyone to stay here

Close to the main gate of Addo Park Well furnished, even in the tent in winter. We were not cold thanks to a heater and

Stay was good except for the fact that we did not get the room we booked.We got a much smaller room than what we booked. and the facilities were also less than what hotels.com website mentioned. No aircon and few other smaller items. Service and food was very good.

A very basic room and bathroom. As such, the cost is somewhat over-priced. Nevertheless, it was a clean a comfortable stay. Very few extras though: One is cautioned at check-in not to drink the tap water, yet complimentary bottled water is not provided. Coffee and tea is provided, however no cups and only powdered milk were available. Several items specified on Hotels.com, such as air-conditioning, were also lacking.

We loved the experience. The room was comfortable and despite them saying Wi-Fi would be intermittent we had no problems at all. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had washing done too which was cheap. The only problem which we had was that the restaurant wasn’t open on Wednesdays. We had been driving all day so having to drive back out at night was a nuisance. Very close to Addo Elephant Park but be careful if you prebook as there are 2 entrances and the other is 1 hour away. We made that mistake. The park is tremendous though especially if you love elephants.

Wonderful stay. Truly an African experience and perfectly located for the elephant park.
