Location was across the pub so noisy with the music across the road.

Great place for a comfortable stop over. Pub across the road for good night out as well.

Lovely hotel it’s like stepping back in time. The only thing that was a problem was carrying your luggage up all the stairs . This hotel has charm I would highly recommend staying there.

We had a lovely stay at the Denison Boutique Hotel. I love staying in heritage places. This hotel room was beautifully decorated! We loved it!

Luv the ambiance, it’s a great blast from the past. The accessible room needs work but the manager mentioned they were working on that. But otherwise a lovely place to stay. Will stay again, next visit to Rocky

The decor

We loved our stay - big surprise when we opened the door - huge comfortable canopy bed, gorgeous corner spa, lovely old fashioned decor, extra high ceilings, air con, friendly staff on check-in. We would definitely stay there again. (Location a bit noisy when the train went by outside but only happened twice and didn’t bother us or keep us awake as we didn’t hear any traffic throughout the night.)

Beautiful historic building and very friendly welcome. Being right on the train line is off putting at first but the traffic appeared to stop overnight. Unfortunately the room was somewhat neglected with a missing smoke detector, broken towel rail and frosted over freezer. Also the bed although huge was showing its age with a sagging mattress on the right side.

Stayed for one night on our way through and really enjoyed the stay. It was a gorgeous room that felt like being transported into another era, but with the mod cons that make for all you could need.

A lovely building, old world style which we really liked. Friendly welcome, lovely room with spa which we enjoyed, we would return!

Old school and great value, big rooms.

Nice room

The shower in room 8, the water was draining away, but water was still lying around on the floor. This was making hard to keep our feet dry when wanting to use toilet.

Accommodations in old buildings like this are hard to come by these days. Good for budget minded travelers. Great meals, hospitality and entertainment offered by neighbouring Great Western!
