The room had very old furniture and was in disrepair. The sofa and floor had wet spots and we had to cover the sofa with a blanket. the red chair in the room was so dirty it looked liked it belonged in a mechanics bay. The tap in the shower came right off in my hand and the temperature in the shower could not be regulated because the handle was stripped and the water would not get hot. Staff had no other room and we were only there for one night. Staff was very understanding and the room should not have been in service but the hotel was full. Room 136.

Our room was clean and well appointed. However, the carpeting had several large areas where it was dark and sticky. The bath towels were small, more like large hand towels. The bed seemed unusually small. My feet actually hung off the end of king-sized bed. We've stayed at other Sandman hotels and this one pales in comparison. If this was our first Sandman experience, I doubt we'd give this chain continued patronage. Very disappointing.

Booked a king suite and they moved me to a queen bed suite and couldn’t switch me back. Room was in rough shape. Bathroom was not clean (had a used bar of soap in the shower). The toilet was broken and would not flush. They sent someone to fix it, but it broke again afterwards. Hallways smelled as well.

At first glance, it looked impressive. Then the icky, gross, disgusting horrors surfaced during the night. Beautiful hotel ruined by poor maintenance. What a shame! Black mold in bathrooms (front desk shamelessly tried to downplay it as old grout stains), dirty degraded carpets in the rooms and the hallways, unusable in-room sofa-chair (damaged surface; unhygienic to sit on). Their elevator stopped working, guests were having to use the stairs to climb up to the 45h floor. Breakfast only had muffins with coffee, tea, and/or some beverage, but they were hiding the muffins in their office -- false advertisement -- their breakfast was referring to the Denny's in the same parking lot. On top of that, they had a group of guests fighting in the lobby.
