Very helpful staff, very nice breakfast with lots of tropical fruits, comfortable room, need to read notices about what to throw and what not to throw into the toilet

Hotel has good amenities, unfortunately we had a rude lady at check in but ended up getting good help from one of her colleagues. The hotel was very noisy, probably the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Breakfast was good and easy to get around from here.

The stay was great! The hotel was very well appointed, clean, excellent amenities and ambience. Please see my other review, I booked two rooms. The service from Ian, George, and Leticia was absolutely incredible, they displayed exactly what great customer service should be. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in the Itaim Bibi area of São Paulo!

The Grand Mercure Itaim Bibi was a great place to stay. The location was excellent very upscale, with great places to eat, great bars, shopping, and the Central Park of São Paulo all within easy walking distance. Every room has a balcony, the rooftop pool had incredible views of São Paulo. The room had a very comfortable King Size bed, amble space for working if needed, the room was very clean, nice size bathroom with a large walk-in shower, plenty of water pressure. Ian, George, and Leticia at the front desk gave incredible customer service and even spoke fluent English, which was very helpful since I do not speak Portuguese! They were super friendly, very knowledgeable about the areas restaurants, bars, and other attractions like shopping etc. I would give the stay a 10 out of 10 if that rating were available on this platform. I will return to São Paulo again, and only stay here. It was a great experience indeed. Job well done yo everyone! Thank you!

Average rooms and amenities. Their dining options are very limited. Breakfast is EXACTLY the same everyday. the staff in the dining are are very nice and helpful. Lobby area is very small and has a lot of foot traffic, not a place to sit and enjoy.. . This place is very noisy even in the guest rooms - not the hotel's fault as their are two major construction projects going on in the adjacent areas. It can be noisy at all odd hours including weekends. I had a little issue with booking dates and initial discussions were painful and downright nasty from the staff. Eventually my extension was ranted but at a horrendous cost - thy RIPPED me off with nearly 3x normal room rate for one night. The location is convenient for my work and I have many trips to SP coming up, but am not sure I will stay here again.

The views are amazing from the rooms and roof pool. Housekeeping and room service will take care of all your needs, food was amazing with room service. Very clean. Good centralized location.

Aside from the beginning and end of our experience, It was a pleasant stay and well located. Check-in (George) wasn’t welcoming at all. He did his job in accommodating us yet made us feel that we had to be pleasant to him apposed to us having a welcoming experience. Valet service was good, yet their “system” was quite disappointing. We valeted our car for the night, yet when we checked out, they charged us for an extra day because our car was there past 11am. This didn’t make any sense being that check-out is at 12pm ( which we did ) The valet company may not be part of the hotels management yet someone should definitely consider changing this. There is zero logic here and should be valid until the time of check-out. One more thing - The cost for the breakfast buffet was fare yet why the coffee isn’t included was really odd. Excellent hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. The staff were very friendly and professional. Room was clean with really comfortable bed and linens. Nice view from the balcony. The best hotel and best sleep I had during my two week trip in Brasil. I saw other guests complaining about the repair work being done outside the hotel but feel they were being unfair as the improvements look like they will be very nice once completed.

The price on Hotels.com was £100 cheaper than what I actually paid.there was a lot of noise in my original room because of building work. The receptionist was happy to move me to a quieter and better room Other than that it was a great stay. I
