We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the upstairs family room which has a little side room with bunks (beds could be softer but not at all bad). Most hotel coffee is terrible. La Gaffe has GREAT coffee in the morning, breakfast was simple but fresh. Wish I could give the service 6 stars! The staff was so kind and accommodating. Really appreciated feeling like family when staying here. Greek restaurant down the block was excellent.

Great place to stay. Rooms are good, if a bit small ... it is 3-star. Price very reasonable. Beds fine. Staff friendly & helpful Location is excellent ... 5 minute walk to Hampstead tube station. Plenty of good editable restaurants & cafes within 10 minutes walk ... New York Cafe very good 👍

Great location for Hampstead! Stayed last week! The heat was unbearable but luckily our super host was able to give us an extra fan! Very clean, cosy room! Brought back memories of when we used to dine in their fabulous restaurant many years ago!

💙🇬🇧 🇮🇹 Absolutely LOVE Lorenzo, Giuseppe, Dekka, Eric n staff... They operate with a FAMILY vibe! Accommodating, kind, professional. Hampstead tube station conveniently located down the street. Must be able to walk a slight hill and building uses only stairs... No lift/elevator. Wonderful light breakfast served in their cute dining area. REAL cappuccino made to order! Old fashioned charm & appeal! We are definitely coming back! 💕

I spent 3 nights here on my first time in London and found it a great hotel to settle in and experience the city. The hotel manager and staff are excellent - their morning coffee is quite strong which I like. While the walls are thin, the rooms do come with earplugs. The best thing about this hotel is that you get to experience London without the business of downtown. This is also a great base to learn how to navigate the tube and transit, especially if you are going downtown. The neighborhood is also excellent and quiet. I highly recommend La Gaffe if you are looking for an alternative location outside of London’s downtown.
