Clean quiet middle town

We didn’t eat there. Could get coffee and tea at the bar. Staff was very helpful.

We were greeted in front of the property by Sara, coming off her break, who went above and beyond by helping us park in a tight spot. Every staff member treated us like family.

Great parking and close to all downtown activities

Staff was excellent, perfect location, very clean hotel.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. In room Nespresso machine was great. No bathrobes.

Hotel is very centrally located. All facilities are excellent but the standout thing about my stay were the staff — from reception, to room service to bar & restaurant, all were so friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend

This hotel was centrally, located in the middle of downtown at a perfect location. The castle we visited was within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very convenient location at the one end of the main downtown area. Quiet hotel, safe and convenient parking, our window looked out over the castle. Room was big and comfortable.

An excellent stay. The Pembroke Hotel is a lovely hotel offering very good value for money. Fantastic, central location. The vast majority of the staff are excellent, if I was being picky I think the bar staff could either do with a more experienced manager, or more training. We intended to have dinner in the restaurant last night and despite being given menus, the staff didn’t think to tell us that the kitchen closed at 8pm - we missed dinner which was disappointing! We were sat there having a glass of wine, intending to order when we were ready. The rooms are big, well equipped and very comfortable. I would like to have had an extra aid to get out of the shower which is over a bath. I had to hold on to the towel rail for safety - I don’t think it is intended for that purpose. We would definitely return to The Pembroke.

Love this hotel for Kilkenny stays. Breakfast was delicious as always and air conditioned rooms are a god send. Staff were extremely helpful

Excellent breakfast! Numerous pubs/restaurants/ attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel does have two parking areas, one onsite and one offsite. The offsite parking is a very short distance from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again on our next trip!

Perfect location, great staff!

Great location but unremarkable, completely lacking in character - stark difference from everywhere else we stayed on our 10 day trip around Ireland. On top of that, 1 of the 2 lifts was down for maintenance forcing very long queues to get up to your rooms. All in all pembroke was a disappointment and I think you can find better

Problem getting checked in until 4:30 and had to ask for management.

Large and clean room. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. You had several options to choose from. The location was great. Was able to walk to pretty much everything.
