Everything was great. Service was excellent. Breakfast was good. All in all, bottom line I would return again if we would be in the area.

First of all, amazing location, very quite, perfect view. The staff went above and beyond for us to feel comfertable and happy. The room was very cozy, bed is super comfortable, hot water, AC, everything was simple to activate. Great Spa facillities. Great hiking paths around the hotel, very beautiful!

Our room was cosy and big. Breakfast was until 11.15 and even if we went at 11, there were not a lot of things left and the warm dishes were cold. There was nobody at the breakfast room either to tell them about it.

Pelion Resort is a medium sized resort with a pool, which has a nice setting. We stayed on a Saturday before the summer season was in full swing so it was not very busy. Whilst the accomodation was clean and reasonably comfortable we found it to be a somewhat impersonal place. Our room did not have a full view. We could not close the window shutters in the lounge room when they started to rattle in the wind as the couch was jammed hard against the windows. The staff were not particularly friendly, just a bit impersonal and disinterested. The room we were in appeared to be set up for someone with a disability with a lifter near the toilet, a good thing that they provide such services. There was a towel rack just above the shower to one side that I managed to hit my head on as I got into the shower, bad design. Very steep driveway up from car park to haul your luggage up. The area is very pretty but the resort is quite a stiff walk up from the village.

The hotel is above Portaria in a quiet side, easy to access. It has a wonderful pool and restaurant for breakfast. The room was rather dated and in some respects I'll kept for the price.

Buyer beware. The delux room with fireplace included, as advertised, was only for "limited supply". The staff was not sympathetic about their false advertising and said you must email or phone them before booking to insure a fireplace room is available. In essence, the "delux room" was a standard room. In addition, the shower temperature control was a fine line between freezing and boiling. Overall, a 2-star hotel.

The hotel is on top of a mountain, and the way to it is not for the faint hearted. It's beautiful, but mind you: since it's on a mountain, it can be very windy and therefore you might not be able to use the beautiful pool! When we stayed there, it became very cold so we asked to light the fire place that we had in our rooms. We were told that since it's windy, the smoke might go into the room... I would say that when it's very hot, it's a great romantic hotel. Mind you, the good beaches are 1.5 hours away from the hotel on one side of the mountain, and the good Taverns are 30 minutes away on the OTHER side of the mountain.

We stayed 2 families for 7 nights at this hotel and used it as a base to experience Pelion. We were very pleased and highly satisfied. great value for money. Pros: 1. Excellent for children (especially boys) - pool, football (soccer) field, playground and general areas great for independent kids to roam and play. 2. Service - the staff was great and went to length to accommodate all our needs. 3. WIFI - free and FAST ! 4. Great value for money. 5. luggage drop off - you can reach the room with the car - sounds anecdotal but its exactly the kind of things that make it more pleasant to travel as a family with many bags. 6. Large rooms - we were pleased with the size of the rooms which included a double bed and 2 singles for the kids. Cons: 1. While the room was very big and the bathroom as well, in our friends room the actual shower was quite small (place for one adult only). Also don't get excited about he multiple jet shower which lacks water pressure to enjoy. 2. Location - while Portaria is a nice village on the west side of pelion, the east side has perhaps more attractive villages. we drove half of the days to the beaches and villages on the east side (1.2 hour drive). it didn't bother us since the drive is beautiful and lets the kids fall asleep on the way back but one can choose to stay on the eastern side as well or at least split. To conclude - highly recommend if traveling with kids. for couples - you can find a more romantic hotel.

We've stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. The room had an extra bed for our daughter which was very uncomfortable. We also had a jaguzzi in the bathroom, it was ok but very tight with limited space and there was a small whole on the ceiling of the bathroom. The water in the swimming pool was a bid cold and the breakfast basic with nothing special. The hotel staff were very friendly .

A beautifully set hotel on top of the town square of Portaria. I wish we had booked extra days because this hotel was one of the highlights of our holiday. Lovely setting, good size rooms, clean, comfortable, modern. The hotel had a pool where we had our afternoon drinks and then dinner _a bit expensive but worth every penny. Breakfast included in the price, a variety of homemade food and local produce as well as traditional eggs, ham, cheese etc. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Check out wasn't until 12 which meant one could have another dip in the pool if they so wished or chill out in their room. Very happy overall, I am going to go there again and stay longer.
