Staff were very helpful and friendly

Great location!

The heat was out in the rooms for the majority of the stay. Pool area is tiny but nice.

Stayed one night while visiting Michigan Tech; the room was very spacious, beds were comfortable and location was very convenient to restaurants, shops, and close to the university. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Houghton!

This hotel was top of the line. Nothing at all was wrong with it.

Very friendly staff

This is the first time I've stayed at this property since it was renovated. It is hard to even recognize the old hotel. The rooms are incredible. Views and location are perfect.

Overall it is a very nice property. The staff is friendly and professional. They addressed questions quickly and thoroughly. However, I did not like the window shade as although it appears opaque you can see outlines of people passing by (I had a 1st fl room) and the nearby parking lot light shone through all night. I also had to ask for some hand soap for the bathroom sink. I would definitely stay there again. The proximity to downtown Houghton is amazing!

Top notch

Everything was excellent, except for the housekeeping portion. We ere not advised that rooms, according to the housekeeper, were done every other and we had to request the service.

Accommodations were excellent rooms were clean, bright and very quiet. Breakfast bar very good with a lot to offer. Coffee had the best taste of any motel/ Hotel I have stayed.

Great location. Very nice view on the water side. We booked this place partially for this reason. But “no room with water view for what you paid for”. “Not tomorrow either. That’s not how it works”. We booked it from Expedia. Would suggest to specify what kind of the rooms to get with what price. No room service the second day, not even trash pick up. The toilet was backed up the night we checked in. We run out of body wash the second day. Hot breakfasts is good. Even different items for the 2 days we stayed. Staff friendly.

Great location! Very clean! The food in the restaurant was also very good. Room location on bottom floor next to the parking lot was a disappointment (when expecting a view of the water).

Nice stay. View was parking lot, with cars facing the window. Bed was nice and soft, but sagged towards the middle. Couldn't watch noon NFL game because not included with TV package. I think for the room price the national networks, CBS, FOX, should be available.
