Eduardo and staff went beyond to be sure we were well taken care of. Eduardo went beyond to answer all our questions as long with great conversation. We would recommend this property to everyone.

Beautiful hotel in excellent position. Sadly they do not serve any food in either the restaurant or cafe in the evening. The receptionist offered us a pizza or a sandwich which was enough for us and there are other restaurants in the town. There is no wheelchair accessibility, steps at each entrance, but they do have a lift to the upper floors. We are very sad that we won't be able to stay again because of accessibility and no evening restaurant but the breakfast is excellent and we would recommend this hotel to able bodied guests.

The hotel is ideally placed for access to the medieval village. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. We decided to have one of their pizzas on our first night and it was delicious. Breakfast as well was excellent and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. There was space to park the car for free. The decor was delightfully tradional Spanish. The hotel overlooked a pleasant park in a quiet area. The only issue was the air-con. This possibly needed fixing. I would stay here again. Breakfast was included, unlike other hotels. Free parking was a bonus.

Great overnight stay on the way to the ferry at Santander. Lovely hotel in a great location overlooking green area just on edge of town. Friendly staff at the hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Lovely medieval town with lots of interest and old spanish culture.

An excellent hotel, providing you do not have walking difficulties as there are several steps, with no handrail, at the main entrance, apparently due to architectural error!!! They are working on providing a ramped access. Excellent breakfast but no restaurant. The owner has a good restaurant "La Huerta Del Indiano" just in the village where Menu Del Dia costs €15 inc glass of wine. No actual parking lot but no problem in the adjoining roads plus public carpark opposite street end,

Spent six lovely days in the hotel Casona del Revolgo, driving and visiting various sites around Cantabria. Hotel centrally based in the picturesque village of Santillana del Mar. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet wonderful, bedroom excellent. Lots of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very family friendly location.

The only thing I could think of to complain about was the location of the TV near the ceiling! But who goes to Santillana del Mar to watch TV! In all other respects, large,well-appointed room, large, well-equipped bath (Jacuzzi), large, comfortable (somewhat firm) bed, excellent breakfast, reasonable dinner price abd quality and first-rate service from busy, limited staff combined to make this a four star experience at a two star price. Highly recommended.

We spent two nights in this busy village. Despite it being a weekend and parking at a premium, we were able to park at the side of the hotel on both nights. We ate in the hotel on both nights and found the food good and reasonably priced.

This small hotel has been renovated very nicely. Our en-suite room was huge, comfortable, clean and had everything that you would want - except that Spanish hotels don't do tea and coffee making facilities. We enjoyed the choice of dinner menu and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is situated on a town green, just outside of the old, cobbled part of town and is very quiet at night. The old town is very quaint and good looking, is pedestrianized and has shops selling local produce, so it's worth spending a while wandering round. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant, so this was a very good choice as it turned out and we thoroughly enjoyed our short visit.
