It was cozy and they have a separate kitchen in hall free water and coffee with microwave

This was listed as a “boutique” hotel. This is most certainly not a boutique hotel. The king size room was very cramped. I chose the listing because it said there was a pool. There was no pool. The cute courtyard pictures in the listing was not nearly as nice as I expected. The hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. They were the best part of the stay.

Poor lightning in room

JoAnn, Dennis, Eddie an the staff we're pretty amazing ,Great everything. Constantly had clean towels., provided house for guests to take to the beach as well. Excellent job. Will be back and will recommend to others. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No need to worry about language barriers either.

Great place to stay

I think it needs to be updated.and clean a little better floor was dirty found strays and paper on the floor.

Expedia forced me to stay in this cockroach-infested place. I am requesting a credit for this stay.

I stay here often. I would recommend to update to some of the rooms. Bathroom cabinet this time was falling apart, bed made noises, air conditioning in wall made noise, everything is starting to look outdated. You pay at some moments of the year a high price because of the advantage of location. If no upgrades were to be made maybe consider lowering the price to be fair. With and upgrade it would be awesome

We loved our stay here! Cute and small, no noise issues, no parking on site but expected. Front desk and all staff were very nice and the room was perfect for just sleeping and working.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay that meets all of your accommodation needs, this is the place for you to book your reservation. I made last-minute bookings because of an inconvenience caused by another hotel and to my amazement the staff at this hotel was very helpful, accommodating and hospitable. Eddie, who I met at the front desk, made sure that our room met our needs in addition to that he would assist with information we needed to get around Puerto Rico because of this I had one of the most amazing vacation ever. Eddie you’re the best. I will definitely make this my Puerto Rico home and place to stay whenever me and my family visit. I will also be recommending others to stay here as well. Good option for the price

Cute boutique hotel with friendly staff. Checked in Sunday and out Wednesday and no room service was provided until I asked on Tuesday. Additonally the TV did not work.

The building of the Canario Inn is gorgeous. It looks like a historic Condado house that you just want to love, but the accommodations are very disappointing. Upon arrival, there is no place for luggage storage, yet there is plenty of space to create a safe place to store bags. This is a total miss since San Juan has an international airport, and flights arrive since early morning. The hallways and public spaces are so dingy that we never brought food back to the inn. That’s unfortunate because there is a patio that could be fixed up nicely. The rooms are beyond disappointing. The walls have been painted over so many times that the buildup is pretty tragic, and the dark, depressing paint colors are far from festive and relaxing for someone on vacation mode. The best thing that could happen to this place is for an investor to buy the property and give it a major facelift. I just hope that whoever does keeps the integrity of the original home and the beautiful tile along the stairs. Maybe even bring forward some of the history of the house!
