Hotel is in a great location, lots of things to do nearby. I didn't have any problems with staff and room was clean. It had a mini fridge, microwave, shampoo, bar soap and a blow-dryer. Pool was open but hot tub was closed unfortunately. Breakfast was good, although the English muffins were hard.

Room furniture is very worn and damaged, carpet stains and not very well upkept, we also stayed here in June and had the same experience, we were hoping it was an off experience and this time would be different, house keeping did not come once in our 4 night stay, had to ask for towels 2x. hotel is overrun by “guests” who book 1 room and then bring 5-10 outside guests to the waterpark and unapologetically flush out paying guests. Was told by staff that the pool had no heat because it was a fire hazard to have a heat source in a pool area because of the pumps, our 2 children were chattering from the extreme cold in the pool area. Unfortunately we will not be coming back to stay here on our trips to the KC metro area.

The bath tub was stopped up causing water to remain at the bottom of the tub while trying to shower which is gross. The blow dryer didn’t work at all. So I had to leave with wet hair. The air in the room smelled mildewed causing the room to feel muggy even with the air on the lowest setting.

When we arrived, we found out hot tub was not working. That was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. When we got to room, we couldn't get shower to turn on. They moved us to another room. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The room was sufficient and that's it. The pool was a nightmare. There was no one in the pool area to supervise the children going down the slide so the kids were making trains to go down the slide 6 and 8 at a time. The night shift was completely understaffed while the day shift had several employees that basically just stood around. Breakfast was great 1 morning when there was a particular older man working the kitchen but the next day was chaos. The young lady tried but could not keep up and after several complaints to the front desk she finally got some help but it was too late by that time. Overall terrible experience and I will never return nor recommend

The room itself was fair. But the reason we stayed was for the water park and it was not worth what we paid. Unfortunately the hotel was extremely understaffed leaving the water park unattended. It was filthy. The bathrooms were disgusting- no toilet paper, poop and urine in every stall. Toilet paper stuck to the soaking wet floor. The men’s bathroom was closed all together. The hot tub was also shut down and we were not aware of this when we booked. Had I known there would be yellow caution tape everywhere, I would not have chosen this hotel. There were also so many children left unsupervised with no staff to monitor rules- kids were going down the water slide 10+ at a time. Jumping in head first without even paying attention. My smaller kids could not even swim. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

The bathroom was clean and the sheets were fresh, that is the best I can say. This hotel has taken a beating- the carpet is worn, the walls need paint, and the beds need replaced. The water “park” was in disarray and parts were not functioning.The breakfast attendant, he was a true gem this morning. He was a friendly ray of sunshine in an otherwise mediocre stay.

They check us in, we go to our room and the door key doesn't work. We're up on the 3rd floor. Go back down, they rescan our cards and back up we go. Nothing. Go back to the desk, the manager blames the new girl for writing down the wrong room, saying we're in 308 instead of 305. We go up to 308, key card work, only it's someone elses room. Luckily they were gone, but all their stuff was there. Go back down stairs and then the manager looks, we are supposed to be room 305, his mistake, this time he comes up with us, our keys still didn't work but his master did. They wasted 30 minutes of my time when I was in a hurry, and all I got was sorry. Hotel smells, it's run down. You get what you pay for.
