Smelt wet and damp basic facilities would not re ommend staying here as it was empty and unmaintained grounds

No milk supplied, tv no working no signal, thin curtains and extra light left on all night, noisy fridge had to be turned off because of noise therefore useless, no air conditioning glade it was not cold!

Beautiful area, close to Fox Glacier, very nice walks at close range

Room had no toaster no microwave or utilities had trouble with tv

Loud drip from somewhere when raining during night kept me awake.(room20).Needed assistance to get tv working.

Would not recommend booking this property if you are planning on traversing hooker valley track as instead of 27km away from this property as stated on their website it is a 6 hr drive as you need to go around the mountain. Property does not take the phone and neither answers emails.

The room we had was great. Very good sound proofing. Spaciou room.Comfortable chairs. Ex bed. Office area was ex. 2 things though - cafe and dining area was closed and our room had only 2 cups, 1 wine glass. Electric jug. No spoons or crockery. Car park weedy and scruffy.

The outside lights were on all night so yhe room was not dark , and some sort of pump or refrigerator unit kept coming on throughout the night, but the place was clean and comfortable.

I needed a heart stent put in and management would not let me try another date. Expedia tried to help and could not. I just needed a few days. I am here in NZ now and out of 14 air bnbs and motels and hotels this was the only place that refused to help me.

the property was unkept. Lawns not mowed, ripped curtains and very old carpet.

Dirty tv didnt work noisy

If I could give zero stars I would. Bedding stained & smelled dirty & unwashed. Shower inexplicably ran scalding hot then icy cold. Paper thin walls where you can hear E.V.E.R.T.H.I.N.G. You get what you pay for and this is a lesson learned for us. A definite never again.

I think we were the only ones who were staying there, after we checked in at 4pm they closed reception, and we never saw anyone again all evening or night (it was kind of spooky!). The room was ok, a few cobwebs and shower a bit tired, but ok for the price.

“Hotel” left without staff present. No security. Front door left wide open. Fire alarm rang and woke us. It was pouring rain outside & we were to evacuate. Tried to find some contact information but finally called the fire department. Did not sleep well and staff that arrived on scene had no answers in morning. No restitution of any kind was offered for a sleepless night.
