I needed a nice little place to stay during a holiday so we decided to give the Commodore a try. The front desk attendant was very kind and the staff was wonderful. The room was large and comfortable but only drawback was the decor. I used to live in Korea in the 1980’s and the decor was plenty much the same as it was then (smile). Still, this is not a dealbreaker and it is still a nice stay.

I should have stayed somewhere else. The room amenities were lacking even the basics. The room was cold even though the heating was on full. The duvet and pillows were of low-quality. There was no kettle in the room which made making coffee very difficult. The windows were disgustingly dirty. The breakfast was plain and the eggs were precooked and cold.

We stayed at his hotel during out motorcycles tour around Peninsula. Checking in was a breeze, room was clean, breakfast was the bomb, highly recommended. Location is very close to the waterfront and bunch of local cuisine restaurant and coffee shops. Check out was fast, overall we had pleasant experience with this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel while waiting for my apartment in the city to be vacated. I was just looking for a place to stay but it turned out to be in a fairly interesting place. The steel mill has a light show almost every night and a nice beach with plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants has one of the better views. There was a mixture of dining options, I chose a pretty nice Italian place. It should be noted that Pohang is know for its seafood (it is a port) and most restaurants will focus on one kind of a seafood dish or another. It should be noted that I speak pretty good Korean and this place is a bit away from the traditional tourist options. Since it is a bit away from the English-speaking centers I suggest learning some key phrases or going with a translation app. This hotel is about 30 seconds - 1 minute from a bus stop. The buses run to and from the main bus terminal in the city. If you want to get on an early bus to another city this would be a good place to stay. Is is about 20-25 minutes on the 130 line to and from the bus station. The train station is also on this side of the city. When I was there the front desk was staffed by someone with good-enough English to check in and ask simple questions. Overall I would recommend this place if you get a good deal and need somewhere to stay for a night or two. Small continental breakfast was cheap. Eggs, cereal, kimchi soup, bread, and jam. Fairly standard.

No wifi is an issue. Clean but small. Small town and better hotel than most small town hotels.

We were in Pohang just for one night. The night clerk didn't speak much English and didn't know where the coffee makers were kept (they are not in the room.) Bottled/filtered water was available only from the quick mart which was several blocks down the road. The beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean. The toilet had trouble flushing half the time. All in all, our most expensive and least appealing hotel for our 5 day trip in 3 different cities.

깨끗하고 시설좋았어요. 나무조경도 훌륭해요. 주변 해수욕장도 도보로 가능하고 사우나시설이 있으면 더더 좋을 듯합니다.
