Façade pieces, large pieces of the balcony falling off and on the patio. Weird barricades to block it. None of this was mentioned before the booking. Birds getting trapped in netting that surrounds of a balcony because it’s dilapidated. Weeds Growing out of the balcony. Hotel Refused to give me a partial refund. I had to help birds on many occasions get out of the nets surrounding the balcony. Stressful.

Perfect location...front entrance you had the sea and back entrance the old town.

For such an upmarket hotel it was a little disappointing that there was no fridge in the room. Given its location, being able to store cool drinks in the room would be an advantage. The ironing room needs to be upgraded. It was the size of a closet and the ironing board needed a new cover. If you’re not going to provide an iron and a board available in the room then an ironing room needs to be better.

Loved our stay!! Staff went out of their way to make our visit special. The location was exceptional. Close to the Old Town. Highly recommend!

Great location to everything!!! Walking distance to train station Shopping, restaurants and beach are right there. Room was comfortable quiet and very clean We loved our sea view room.

Spotlessly clean rooms, modern with comfortable beds, excellent housekeeping. The street side is noisy of a night - not the hotels fault but be aware if you pick a room on that side. We found the breakfast to fine - small choice range but fresh and lovely view from the dinning room. Great central location.

A very pleasant stay at the Balmoral. Location is good, staff are helpful, breakfast is very good and the bar/lounge/outside area are nice places to relax. This was our second visit and hopefully we'll be back again.

Hotel Bleues le Balmoral was built in 1859, so it is an older hotel with many coats of paint and old wrought iron balconies. It faces the Mediterranean to the west and the beach road, so expect some traffic noise. Not too fancy but the breakfast hall was excellent and well maintained. Beds were soft but comfortable, with lots of pillows and crisp white sheets. Fridges only available in the Deluxe chambres. Thank you to the day manager, Sabrina, who was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. French, English, and Italian are spoken at this hotel. Recommended for direct access to the beach, dining hall and location at the edge of "old town". SNCF regional train was a 10 minute walk. This hotel was very affordable. Merci beaucoup.

Impeccable. Hôtel très propre, nourriture bonne et variée au restaurant matin comme soir en demi-pension, personnel très avenant et diplomate et installations complètes. L’emplacement est génial à quelques minutes de la gare et adjacent au centre de Menton. Mention toute spéciale à la réceptionniste des soirs du 16 et du 17 octobre très sympathique et qui a toujours offert un service à la clientèle irréprochable. Supervisant moi-même dans l’hospitalité à la réception elle dispose de tout les atouts. À tout cela s’ajoute la vue sur la mer; wow. Sur l’aile la plus rapprochée la vue est panoramique et j’ose dire qu’elle l’est tout autant dans l’aile principale. Un incontournable dans la région et avec grand plaisir de revenir y séjourner.

Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and location was the best. Will definitely return. Highly recommend this hotel. Close to everything.

Short stay only for one night but everything was absolutely amazing

Lovely hotel and rooms recently renovated. Only negative was the hairdryer. A 1980s style dryer, I could move more air with my breath. Apart from that a lovely hotel in an excellent location.

This is a stunning hotel location. Our family room had a balcony overlooking the sea. Must have been newly renovated and was beautiful. The staff were kind and helpful and breakfast buffet was good.
