Great property if travelling by car but you definitely need a car as there's nothing around there and public transportation is non-existent.

It’s a nice & very convenient hotel. But the breakfast is awful, all mass-produced, pre-packed sweet and savoury items, even juices are from concentrate, not a good advert for Italian cuisine. The toiletries in the room are beyond basic and lots of plastic packaging. A little attention and creativity would improve things so much. It’s still the best place to stay in the area.

I’ve been to this hotel many times and, for the area, it’s good, however this time we had no internet in our room and even in the breakfast room for 5 days. The staff kept telling us it was working, then admitted it wasn’t and that engineers were looking at it, then upon departing they once again said it’d been working fine, but actually we had to use our mobile phones data to stream and go on the web. The bedroom lights also came on by themselves at 6am after a power cut and woke us up. The breakfast is awful, all pre-packed stuff, even the bread and cardboard-like croissants, overboiled eggs and nothing to suggest you are in italy, a country known for its delicious food.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, rooms fairly modern and very clean. We had two rooms for 5 nights. The hotel appears to be a more week time hotel. The breakfast was typical Italian continental. It was very pleasant, however over the weekend the breakfast left a lot to be desired, with a smaller selection, going off fruit and not the freshest bread. Once monday arrived the breakfast was back to a fresh full selection. The hotel is adjoined to a small shopping centre, which was handy. Wifi quite slow.

Very pleasant hotel near downtown area. Rooms are well lit and clean. Only negative is no coffee/tea available in room. Nice breakfast.

This was my second stay at the Hotel Rivarolo and both stays were just perfect. The staff of Virginia, Lauro, Gianluca, Viola and Pasquale are the perfect hosts and treat this guests as family! Love to stay in hotels that provide great value and an amazing staff!

Close to Damanhur and fit to our expectatines

Loved our time here, the beds weren't overly comfortable but the room was clean and check in was easy.

The room was clean and quiet. Conveniently located. Check in was easy and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We were here for two nights. The lovely lady in the breakfast room was attentive and friendly. The selection at the buffet was quite nice.

Hotel Rivarolo exceeded my expectations as I must say I was a bit apprehensive not having stayed in this city before. Although, a bit removed from the city, it has a small shopping mall adjacent to the hotel making last minute shopping needs an easy chore. As rated above, all aspects were very good and I had two very quiet restful nights which is what makes a good hotel stay. But where Hotel Rivarolo exceeds all expectations is with the world class customer service provided by the some of the very best employees that I have encountered in the hotel industry. Gianluca, Virginia, Laura and Paola were amazing. They truly love what they do and each individual is truly a wonderful reflection of the hotel, the management and their individual high standards for customer service. I do hope the management at the Hotel Rivarolo will recognize these four employees and they truly enhance the customer experience.

Air conditioning didn’t work and Wi-Fi was extremely slow - worse than Third World countries!

The overall room was fine. The rock hard beds made it impossible to sleep. The breakfast was very cheap food.

This was a nice place to stop. There was a really funny little circular mall with several nice places to eat. The air conditioning system didn't cool the room but it was cool enough to open the window. Had it not been on a busy street this would have been great. Would definitely say again.

Very friendly and very accommodating. Very easy to walk to everything. Enjoyed being with the family.

The welcome I received on checking in was very good. The room was all right but not outstanding. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied from the previous guest but the rest of the room was clean and well presented. I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed in the evening (despite being billed as open on the website), especially as there were very few alternative options in the town.
