The rooms were clean, well stocked and serviced. The proprietor went out of her way to accommodate the eldest member of our party , providing transport into the centre and coffee and breakfast were of a high standard. We enjoyed the added bonus of terrace area with direct access from our rooms.Laundry services provided and very prompt attention. A great spot for anyone visiting Cremona.

We planned for a one night two day visit to Cremona and needed a nice, reasonably priced hotel. We had a car to having a hotel close to the center of Cremona was not necessary. Albergo Visconti was less than 10 mins from the center of town by car. The hotel room was clean, staff was friendly, and they had a very nice breakfast offering included with the room. We would strongly consider staying here again on another visit to Cremona.

Very nice hotel. Quiet room. Friendly staff. We arrived early and instead of having to leave our bags in the car, we were allowed to leave the bags in the lobby while we qent to lunch with friends. We found our bags in our room when we checked in later in the afternoon. Second time we have stayed here and am looking forward to staying again.

We didn't have a car so that made our stay more inconvenient than we're used to because Cremona does not have public transportation and taxis are not easily found. However, the people in Cremona (like in all Italy) are fantastic, so with help from everyone we encountered we managed to get around. The BIG inconvenience for us was the extremely slow and useless wifi. All 3 of us were unable to access any working wifi in our rooms or the lobby, however I didn't miss wifi at all, my husband got used to it after a few uncomfortable hours, but I was quite amused to see how my 21yo son was out of his element without it. Gave us something to tease him about the rest of the trip! (Don't worry he laughed at himself as well.) The great thing about the hotel is the accommodating service, great breakfast room and food. Had we been more prepared we would have enjoyed the laid back simple charming small town of Cremona more, but due to a last minute change in our other son's concert schedule, we had to stay there overnight. It certainly was an affordable option at such short notice.

This is a motel like facility about 2 kilometers from city center. Charge for breakfast which is standard. With financial is sporadic, staff is of mixed quality. Biggest liability is location requiring taxi or bus. No restaurants or shops in vicinity.

It is a typical star hotel in a small town. It is far from the city center. You need to walk for over half an hour to get to center town where all the attractions are - like the museum of violin. One thing to be aware is that this hotel only serves breakfast regularly. For dinner, you need to tell them a day before, otherwise you may be out of luck. The closest restaurant is 2km away. I stayed for two nights there, and both nights, the lady at the kitchen was very helpful accommodating and furnished something for me to eat since I did not want to walk 2km.

We stayed here one night with my in laws, 2 rooms. Nice big double bed(king for US size standards) plenty of towels, good hot water, and very quiet. We parked on the public street right in front of the entrance doors, which are different from the reception lobby doors. A neighboring business owner was unhappy we had parked in "her" spot, but we left before she opened for sales and she was able to claim it as her own private parking spot on the free public parking. They do offer a light breakfast of pastries, sliced meats and cheeses, coffee, tea , juices, and such for €7 each or €5 for a coffee and pastry. Coffee and tea service is available in the room, but also will run €5. Desk clerk was very nice, and even recommended some restaurants and parking tips for the central area of Cremona. We stayed to visit some exotic tone wood dealers in Cremona and Desio, after visiting the Violin Museum.

This hotel is on one of the main roads in Cremona about 2 miles from the old center. We walked to the Stradivarius museum and it was do-able… safe neighborhood and terrific staff helped make us most comfortable! The breakfast was good too.

Alberto Visconti was a neat clean, hotel in Cremona. It is about a kilometre from the main town and a bit hard to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and generous. The room was fine. It was easy to drive into Cremona and see the sights.

Absolutely excellent! Staff is so helpful, so nice, helping a lot . Very patient, extremely good. I found out leaking sink in our room. I did not complain at all. Just let them know. They immediately fixed the problem, brought in room hot tea as surprise and offered free absolutely delicious breakfast. We will remember staying there for a long time. People are all extra nice and so helpful. Hotel is not in the center, but bus takes you there from a Hospital stop for 10 min. If I go there again, I would definitely choose this hotel again. Actually, the same bus is bringing you to the train station.

This was a very serviceable hotel. It was not fancy, but there were a lot of extra efforts made by the staff to maximize what they have. The breakfast was excellent.

very nice hotel close to the center. They have free bicycles for the guests and plenty of parking for the car so once you arrive there is no need to worry about driving again. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff at the front desk most helpful (and at least bilingual).

We had a very nice experience although it was quite short. Our room was comfortable but a bit small. The room was clean and the washroom very functional. Excellent service and very polite environment. Very good breakfast.

We stayed 1 night while travelling in Italy and found the hotel very satisfactory for our purposes. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely communal terrace outside (1st floor). The owner /staff spoke english and the registration was quick and easy. The continental breakfast was excellent with an ample choice of fresh and delicious items. The only negative was there were no restaurants nearby although the owner was happy to recommend one for us in the town. As an option there is a carry out Pizzeria just down the road which supplied excellent Pizzas and the owner allowed us to use their tables in the bar and supplied cutlery and drinks for us. The ancient Chiesa di San Sigismondo round the corner from the hotel is well worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed my overnight stay in Cremona. This place represented value for money. Easy to find. Safe to park. Conveniently located 3km from town. Staff very charming, friendly and HELPFUL. Room nice and clean. Decor a little dated but well maintained and would happily recommend for a few nights if travelling round.

Fantastic staff that did everything they could to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Extremely clean hotel. Bed was a bit harder than I like (personal preference). Internet connection was poor. Enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend.
