It was extremely hot in the room and there was no air conditioning. The bathroom was extremely dated and could use an upgrade.

Beautiful location and good restaurant

Nice older property. Some elements a bit rough around the edges. Staff consistently nice, but a bit inconsistent in service quality. Breakfast buffet and food at dinner was vas very good.

Stayed at the historic Hotel Wassilioff in beautiful Stavern during easter 2021. Got an free upgrade to a seaside room with nice view of the harbour. The room was spacious with all the amenities for a 4 star hotel. Had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant. Also got a late check out free of charge. Very helpful staff. I can reccomend this to all travelers staying a night in Stavern.

Leaking water into the room by the door and the carpet was wet because of the water dripping in.

We spent one night in a suite with a large balcony. Very nice. Pricey. I missed having either a booklet or on-screen Welcome with information on meal times, facilities and such. Not a huge deal, but I would have preferred not to have to go online to my booking to find the info. Corona 2020, so things are not as usual. Breakfast was great, but the buffet should have had more space. There was no way to keep a meter away from others while getting food. Parking close by is limited to two hours during the day, but a car can be parked overnight.

Very nice hotel. Hotel car parking far away. No air conditioning in the room. Good restaurant, but bad acoustics, so quite noisy. Very good location in Stavern.

Great hotel with excellent service!

Unique Old World hotel. Comfy beds, bathroom met our needs. Receptionist was extremely helpful and helped make our stay just that much better. Restaurant is pricey but the portions we had for the 1 meal we had there were huge. Breakfast was great. Last but not least was the view from our room. Gorgeous morning and night.

Ideally located downtown next to the water, room was small but only by NA standards. Quaint furnishings.

Very nicely renovated hotel in a beautiful small summer town.

Hotel stay was great.

Likely the best option in the area. The sea view room itself was fine for size, but the bathroom was a little tight for space. Could really only fault minor things like light globes out, bathroom floor heating not working and flat batteries in TV remote; all of which were a slight irritation rather than a problem. Appreciated the comfy bed and good breakfast.

Hotel has best restaurant in the area as well as english pub, should be very good during season months

This hotel id definitely NOT 4 star. I stay in about 70 - 100 hotels each year, and this would be one of the worst. My room was in the attic on level 3, there was no lift, so had to lug suitcases up stairs, internet did not work well and by morning not at all, bathroom tiny, many corners in room and bathroom due to roof lines (attic room), phone didn't work so had to walk down stairs every time wanted to talk to reception, hotel generally old and tired, although quaint sort of and in good location.

Perfect location on the waterfront - worth paying a little extra for a sea view - as lovely seating area in front of large windows. Extremely helpful reception staff - with ideas of where to go and what to see.

Hadde bestilt rom med to senger. Det fikk vi ikke. På hele hotellet var det kaldt bortsett fra på rommet. Rommet hadde trengt en oppussing. Frokosten var meget bra.
