Excellent accommodation- guest at a wedding and everything was arranged excellently

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were very friendly & couldn’t have been more helpful. Facilities were excellent throughout but the only criticism I do have is the food at breakfast. Although there was a great selection to be had the cooked food section was cold on both days we were there. Apart from that I would recommend the hotel with it’s exceptional facilities!

Spa was amazing and the building is something else. But the bed was harder than concrete and the kings restaurant was appealing for the price steak meal will cost you £40 for something worth £19

The fitness facilities are top class

Pods very nice. Very noisy though, under the tree the rain kept us awake. Ear plugs provided most probably for that reason.

Very good Hotel. Check in was excellent, the lady on the desk extremely helpful. Beautiful champagne bar and everywhere was in good condition. The room was spacious, the bed enormous and the shower and bath brand new. Staff in the bar and elsewhere were excellent.

Check in/out was great very helpful. Room was spacious. Staff were very friendly. Only downside -Struggled to get phone signal anywhere and WiFi wasn’t great.

Service was top drawer from the check in desk staff to the bar staff to the breakfast staff to the golf course marshals and the sausage roll at the halfway house was delicious.

Loved it and will bring golf clubs next time! The only thing I’d say is the spa treatments are mega expensive and the pool needs to advertise when the busiest times are as children started having swimming lessons late afternoon which spoilt the tranquility after that…

Hotels was nice, little bit of a maze to find the room but the rooms were clean and in good condition, few things lacking;extra pillows, towels and water in the room. But all around a nice plac, will visit again. I must also compliment the hotel staff, from the cleaners to reception all were super friendly and went the extra mile for greetings.

We visited Old Thorns for a wedding event, but from the little time we had to explore the resort and being impressed, we will be looking to return again.

Great spacious rooms, clean facilities and fantastic banqueting venue. Shame the golf course was closed because it was under maintenance during our weekend stay. Would have loved to have got a round of golf in.

Shame the pool and wellness suite was at capacity from when we arrived. We did manage to get in at 8am the next day but jacuzzi wasn't working and two hit beds also not working. The restaurant was also fully booked for dinner. It was an ok stay not the "treat" I had thought we had booked.

Nearly could have made it to my best hotel stay yet. Beautiful hotel, a vibrant welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service at reception and in the sports bar. Less so at the gym. Room was spacious and comfortable temperature, nicely decorated. I was only able to use the gym due to restricted access for the times I was there but the gym was huge with a great variety of equipment. Food was delicious. Overall highly rate and recommend. Would stay again.

This is an amazing hotel, just make sure you have a car ! The area is difficult to find a taxi.
