Very friendly staff. The location is perfect for nature lovers and those wanting a quiet escape. It is a 20 minute walk from Middelfart and 30 minute walk from Middelfart train station, which is a bit of a way but doable and worth it. From the hotel we saw porpoises deer and a variety of birds. Superb views of the little belt and the two bridges from breakfast and dinner.

Bed was very comfortable and room was large.

Very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. A bit noisy next to the stairs. Pool is very small. Very fancy restaurant - great for special occasion but not so great for long business stay. Good wi-fi. Nice bed. Good shower. View is amazing from the restaurant.

the staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. it is an older cozy hotel. i am sure in the summer it is wonderful to be on the water.

Here for a business trip. Amazing hotel, in the middle of a beautiful area. Attentive service, nice food — would work for a great weekend getaway.

Really beautiful location, really friendly staff and great facilities! Only downside was the restaurant, it was not clear to us that one must choose a menu, we thought it was one restaurant. We then sat outside and never got served for about 25 minutes so we went inside and were then eventually served. Overall a nice night away but slight confusion with the evening meal!

This Cromwell hotel is amazingly situated right on the Lillebaelt - just between the old and the new Lillebaelt’s bridges! We unfortunately did not have sea view but was situated with views to the wood!. Just in dusk a whole family of deer was grassing right outside our vindows! Beautiful sight. The hotel was reasonly refurbished! very nicely done ! The staff was really friendly helpful and efficient! Breakfast extremely delicious and served in the nicest way in small portions in separate glad containers! Really a delicious way of doing it! Only one little hiccup was: not enough “doggie rooms “ after the renovation!

Great hotel, really amazing surroundings and good service. I really recommend staying there. Good value for money, it is the small things that they do that make the difference. Free coffee, free still water, great breakfast buffet and nice restaurant. The pool area could be a little bigger. 3 is a crowd in the sauna and the hot tub only fits 2-3 unless you really want to sit on someone's lap. But they still have this open and available to all guests so I recommend.
