The evening meal was a gastronomic delight, really fantastic. The wine cellar is to die for - try the Sancerre! Very comfortable bed, and our dogs loved the place!

There's a reason I have stayed here 3 times and hope to return many more in the future. I just love this Chateau. The building is so stately and gorgeous without being pompous. The rooms are super spacious and well decorated. And forget all that, the food in the restaurant (set menu with 4/5 choices at each course) is absolutely superb. Should have Michelin stars and extremely reasonable pricing considering! You are also surrounded by nature here - I currently sitting in bed with the window open. The night is silent except for a tawny owl calling away.

Wonderful converted chateau, in a wonderful location twenty minutes from the Calais Chunnel entrance, so ideal for pre or post Chunnel stay over. High quality restaurant, and great ambiance.

The Chateau and surrounding area is really lovely. Peaceful and quiet. The restaurant is phenomenal - the food is so good and feels michelin star - cute little palette cleansers after each course and to start, some hors d'oeuvres at the start that were literally heavenly. Atmosphere was also lovely. There are no menus in English though and the staff speak very little, if any, English so getting guidance is difficult. The superior room was very comfortable. The missing star is due to a very annoying fire alarm that i get the impression is a frequent problem - set off by the kitchen. Took ages for them to turn it off by which time several guests were in the foyer (6:30am). Bit of a rude awakening.

Great hotel. Rooms a little small, but great value for money. Some rooms have a bath others a shower. Rooms have a kettle, couple of tea bags, instant coffee, and a bottle of water. Nice grounds, great restaurant with a small bar. Plenty of parking and very handy for Cite Europe

This is the second time we’ve stayed, and it won’t be the last! Such a lovely place, with friendly, courteous and helpful staff, and the restaurant is wonderful. It really feels like we’ve had a luxury break, even after only one night.

The hotel was excellent, lovely dinner and bar area. The only disappointment the bedroom was very very small and the bed was 2 single beds joined together. Lovely linen

Excellent dinner. Poor decor, bad lighting in dining area. Style over substance with the shower, water went all over the floor. No mirror in bedroom. Generic hotel decor throughout. This could be an outstanding hotel with a bit more effort as the staff are friendly but over stretched. Excellent location for channel tunnel, pleasant gardens.

Nice place, excellent restaurant. Room was a bit of a let down, cluttered and not very well decorated, small TV. I really don’t like baths where you have an ‘add on’ shower, I much prefer a walk in shower as they are a lot easier and more eco-friendly. So some good points let down by a tired bedroom really.
