Okay, but the Wi-Fi didn’t work most of the time.

We had a lovely time and this was our favourite property in New Zealand. Owners and staff were friendly, nice location that we found quite walkable. The communal pool and cabana area were lovely, we liked that they had games and books. We were very happy with this stay and would definitely recommend/stay again

The view of the lake from the property was superb. Pool was very comfortable and there were easily identified pool towels. We just found it a bit far to walk to restaurants, but room facilities made preparation of a meal easy. There was good communication from the property owners and it was easy to contact them if needed, which it wasn't.

A peaceful stay about 10 minutes walk to town along the beach. Outstanding views of the lake and sunset from our balcony. Nice heated pool too.

Nice location with a view of the lake, 2 min drive to centre of town with lots of dining options.

Great view. Really liked the layout of the apartment, the balcony, and the walk ability to nearby restaurants and the lake. The only downside is there's no elevator so you have to walk up to the second floor with your luggage, but it wasn't really a big deal. Very cute pool but not very large.

Had a lovely stay in Taupo the motel room was perfect and the tub in the garden was extra bonus.

Great to have a private geothermal hot tub at a reasonable price.

Nice spacious accommodation. Comfortable. A bit dated & the brochure pictures make it look better than we found it. Clive to the lake but had to drive to eateries.

Excellent room. Nice view of lake. Parking was a bit tricky w tight spots.

Nice property in good order. We had the family room that worked well. Only slight negative was the pool temp was lower in the morning than in the arvo.

Over the top great! Excellent rooms, very friendly staff. Nice location just away from the downtown crowd. Our room had a beautiful garden with view of the lake. Best of all our very own mineral outdoor spa. We stayed two nights and used the spa constantly. You really need to stay here!

We are so happy we choose Baycrest. The room was amazing, very spacious, loved the kitchen(we didn’t make the best use of but next time we will). The highlight is the mineral thermal tub, amazing! Location is great for the lake access and walking distance to the downtown area. Staying at Baycrest is like staying with family. Thank you

My hubby and I stayed here for our 2nd time. Cannot fault it. Very relaxing and quiet. Definitely recommend this place. We will be back again
