An average hotel in every way. First impressions were poor with staff drinks all around the reception desk. Quality of food from room service was average at best. Rooms were badly sound-proofed and could heard the tv from next door all night. Won’t be rushing back when there is so much choice around.

Plenty of shops. and close to lots of amenities breakfasts very very good 👍

Excellent hotel - central to city centre

Great hotel central . Great staff great breakfast

Central location, helpful staff, clean room, amazing shower, great bar. It felt over-priced though - worn/grubby lime green carpet in the hallway, cheap cupboards that shut noisily, broken toilet button. Did not have the feel of a boutique hotel - more of a pricey budget one. Adequate but not glorious.

Room was old and needed refurbishment. Desk was covered in nail varnish, crack in the bottom of show tray that had been repaired badly. Generally unsatisfactory. Would not be graded 4 stars if a revisit by the inspector was made

Our room was very cold, otherwise the stay was nice.

Good location. Bed cracked loudly when moving around, and on a night could hear other doors etc banging. Would happily stay again

Room issues. No heating and then moved to a room with no shower gel and an old razor in the shower

Staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were really tasty

Rooms were dated and unclean. Could hear everything from rooms next door. Restaurant and breakfast was lovely though. Staff accommodating too.

The room was amazing had everything we needed and more ,the staff were so helpful and polite especially on reception. And breakfast was to die for so much choice will be definitely staying here again.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Parking at a discounted rate right around the corner at the NCP. Great location. Unfortunately we found the bed to be much too hard to get a good night's sleep but this is all down to personal preference.

Excellent service at check in. Our room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the linen superb. My only criticism would be that I don't think dogs should be allowed in the dining area.

We had B&B and it was good value. Parking was not so easy but it is the city centre and we were able to find a place.

Staff lovely, rooms good although had a very strong smell of bleach when we arrived, but otherwise happy with everything
