I think this hotel operates as a scam; at least partially. Expedia allowed me to book the stay at 9:30pm for the very same night; 10:15pm I was at the property - no one at the reception, impossible to check-in. I was there for ~20min waiting. Some people were loud at the "staff only" door next to the reception. After knocking on them, they came out storming at me what do I want, to stop knocking on them, and that they "don't work there". There was no misunderstanding, we were both fluent in both Czech and English, they were just absolutely rude and kicked me out. I suspect it was the kitchen staff; receptionist was nowhere to be found; place looked sketchy & cheap in general. I ended up leaving and having to look for new accommodation in the very middle of the night. "Thanks" Expedia! *only afterwards, I noticed the small ink check-in instruction on the Expedia booking confirmation email, saying that check-in after 8pm have to be scheduled upfront.

Old building, room needs attention but ok for a budget hotel.

Went to check in at the property around 1500 and the staff wasn’t even there. Waited 45 minutes for someone to show up but by that point I didn’t want to stay there. Would not recommend.

My stay at this place was really not great. Firstly, the hotel is not built effectively, there is an elevator that lands between each two floors so you have to walk either up or down to get to your room. Also, the curtains do not fully cover the window and keeps you from sleeping. There is no street parking as advertised on the website. Worst of all if you don't book in advance and come to the hotel to get a room you will be charged an exorbitant price more than double the regular price per night. Be careful of this place !!!!!!! Don't book if you have any other option!!!

It needs renovating. The man on reception was nice. Stains on the wall and holes toilet and sink broken, light bulbs missing, fridge didn't work or the 80's tv. For the same or less money you can get a really good hotel in Prague with breakfast. I wouldn't go back.

The stay was okay if the price is considered in Christmas time, but it was not that pleasant. The receptionist was almost always unavailable. She did not behave well too. Her English was not perfect but communicable. But no one else could converse in English. To enter and exit the hotel you need to open the door with a key or call the receptionist if available. The wifi was too weak. The bill had to be paid in CZK when it was made in Euro. That is okay but they charged high conversion rate. The hotel just look like a normal house from outside. The inside was made of such material so that you can hear voice of anyone anywhere. The room was not totally heat proof. The bathroom was clean but not comfortable. Hot water was not available always. There was no drinking water and the tap water was too dirty to drink.

I shouldn't expect much out of a 20$ per day single room. The room is adequate looks like your grandmother could live in it with all the century old drapes and hazy pink interior, got everything a mini fridge, private bathroom, a T.V (that isn't programed to any channels, but i guess this is unimportant giving that you don't stay much in the room). Hotel location is a bit far from the center (8 Tram stops), there's a limited number of restaurants within walking distance so you're gonna have to take the tram for breakfast. Finally regarding all the above it's a 20$ a night hotel.

Friendly receptionist gave me early check-in room comfortable and quiet.

Lovely and helpful hotel manager but overall hotel decor was poor and room felt unclean with dirty white stains on pillows, unwashed glasses to drink from, shampoo and shower gel not topped up, etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Aladin Hotel in Prague. It was easy to find and in a very nice little corner of the city. I was not looking for a central location and this was the perfect spot for me. Perfectly quiet and comfortable. A nice place to base from.

the hotel was lovely for the price we paid. It is close to public transport (tram bus) and about 20min away from town centre of Prague. We didn't have any internet on the 4th floor, we were told they're changing internet provider. No shower gel in the bathroom which wasn't that clean, but I guess you get what you paid for. Overall I'd recommend it if you're looking for somewhere cheap, central for your get away.

it was good experience , i really suggest it for people who do not have much money and want good hotel.

hotel is in a great location for us. somewhat noisy (thin walls?), but the room and facilities are fine.

The hotel allocated a very small single room although we booked quadruple room in advance! In addition, rude staff very disappointed us. We never recommend choosing this hotel.
