It’s very central, but also a bit noisy in the evening

The location was good, aesthetic of the hotel is nice, and the customer service is great. Keep in mind this property is surrounded by night clubs, bars, and restaurants so there will also be lots of noise and music until 4am on weekends. I was able to stay on both sides of the hotel overlooking the main street and then on the back side of the property and there are bar patios directly under the windows on both sides so you are unable to open your windows.

This is a solid choice right in old town with easy access to everything by foot. My bed was quite comfortable with gorgeous linens from an Icelandic company called Lin Design ( I went and bought some from their store!). The staff was helpful and I have no complaints about the property itself. The only negative is that the hotel offers no amenities other than the room. No on-site restaurant, no on-site bar … the space has those facilities, but they were closed and not functional. Of course, all of Ricky is at your feet so it’s not difficult to wander out the door and find those things, it just would’ve been nice to have a little more of a fun vibe at the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location and has a great staff. We stayed for 3 nights before a cruise and really enjoyed getting to know the city. If we have a chance to return I know where I'm staying.

We like this hotel and definitely want to recommend it to our friends.

Front desk was immensely helpful and property was centrally located

Great location and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our little balcony overlooking the green.Easy access to local restaurants and the harbour. All in all a good 2 night stay in Reykjavik.

This is a great boutique hotel. The staff was great with info. The hotel was central to all tours, shopping and restaurants. We loved the comforters on the bed. They were so beautiful.

Very friendly staff

I had a wonderful stay at CC. Everyone I encountered was lovely and willing to help. Roomy shower, a nice size terrace, and airy space with lots of light was nice to experience. The only negative: the lack of a desk. That made work a little difficult to execute everyday. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. I recommend CC for your Icelandic stay in Reykjavík.

Right downtown, Close to restaurants. The staff was great. Huge bathroom. Reasonable cost for the area. (Everything is expensive in Iceland, but what else do they have but tourists?)

The deluxe room is worth the upgrade. Little bigger room and better layout.

The balcony though tiny, allowed for fresh air and a great view.

Centrally located, plenty of restaurants, pubs, shopping in the area. Clean spacious room and bathroom. We were able to leave our luggage at 9 a.m. after disembarking our cruise. Reception very pleasant and helpful.

This is a great hotel in the middle of the downtown area. It is located on the main strip with all of the stores and restaurants in walking distance. Mel the front desk clerk made our trip. She took the time to provide us a map of all of the downtown area attractions and provided us a path to meet our time schedule on the both days we were there.

Great hotel with friendly staff, interesting decor, and super convenient location. The missing star is only because the common noise complaints are real, since the hotel is situated above the American Bar. But what it loses in noise it makes up for in its location, which seems like a decent trade off. Would stay here again.

This was just what we needed for one night in the city. It was helpful to stow our bags after we checked out so we could do some shopping :)

Nothing fancy but safe and in a great location. Parking can be an issue. Staff were kind and helpful.
