Our curtains are falling off. Marks in the walls. Food order incorrect so as to be inedible. But no charge. But hungry. Large stretchers carrying linens in my hallway. Unsightly. Good tv. Better than we’ve had so far in Norway. Staff on the whole are quite good and versed well in English. Not a good value for the money

One of the best place for take a rest and relax your mind while looking at the ocean view. Quite and peaceful.

Beautiful setting, staff was amazing.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel in stunning location. Breakfast was great & staff was nice. Main negative is that showers are AWFUL - flood entire bathroom, not enough pressure to wash long hair, but this is not uncommon in Norwegian hotels (why??). Overall recommend

The setting of the hotel was lovely - right on the water and the grounds/gardens were beautiful.

Unique location. Old Classic hotel with beautiful new wing. Casual but elegant in its own way. Great family hotel. Lovely beach. Take the nicer rooms for a few more dollars. Great views.

Just an amazing hitek to stay at! Most helpful staff I've ever come across, even late at night! Amazing rooms with sea view, very comfy bed and great bathroom!

Staff were real kind and generous in helping explain the area and where to visit and see. Rooms were decent - very clean but not too large. Breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent stay at the Strand,The food was very good and the staff were first class.We had an upgrade to a lovely seaview room.

Beautiful place to stay, accommodation very comfortable and service fantastic. Would like to have stayed longer. The only thing would to improve the stay would be having tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Loved the hotel, room was clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food and breakfast was brilliant and massive with the restaurant over looking the sunrise on the beach

A couple, we stayed only one night. Top service, in all ways. Great dinner, top quality on food and drinks, all reasonably priced. We are planning on coming back. The nicest hotel I have been to (ever.....) in Norway.

Comfortable and nice environment

We had a fresh, comfortable room looking over gardens to the beach and the bay beyond. We were lucky with fine weather and beautiful sunsets, but even without these would have enjoyed the magnificent breakfast room with a lovely view, drinks on the terrace etc. etc. A relaxing atmosphere.

De oppholdene jeg har hat på Strand har vært så fine , det samme denne gang.

Fint opphald.

Rommet manglet aircondition, minikjøleskap. Det var varmt og upraktisk. Såkalt minibar varer lå på et bord. Svett sjokolade og alt var overopphetet. Litt upraktisk da det ikke var noe annet sted å legge varene og det opptok mye av plassen. Ikke lås på badet og sengene var knirkete. Frokosten var upraktisk for min del. Jeg synes egg med en slapp kald strimle bacon på er uappetittlig. Jeg har en diett der jeg spiser kjøtt til frokost. Egg er jeg allergisk for, så hadde vært en fordel å ikke blande egg og bacon for min del. Spa anlegget var veldig fint. Det var varmt på hotellet og det var vanskelig å få isbiter for å kjøle ned drikken. Kunne vært litt mer tilgjengelig på slike varme dager.

Rom 107 var inntil uterestaurant med folk rett utenfor som kunne se rett inn på rommet Vi kunne ikke ha vindu oppe (var veldig varmt) Vi bestilte rom tidlig på året med ønske om rom høyt oppe
