Didn't use the bar or restaurant during my stay.

We had an excellent overnight stay and wished we stayed for longer! Everything was just so good about the hote, from the parking, the great room and fantastic restaurant.

The hotel has loads of character and history and is very comfortable and pleasant including my room, but the television had very few channels (no ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 to name 2) and the reception was dreadful; the picture on every channel was pixilated and couldn't be watched. It was very disappointing.

Good location and old style hotel

Room 104 at the Angel & Royal Hotel Spacious, comfortable and beautifully kept, it offered the perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the room itself was quiet and relaxing despite the hotel’s central location. Everything was spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel special. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed, and the overall layout of the room made it feel airy and welcoming.

Nice cozy room, clean, receptionist was in training and did an excellent job and was very confident. Excellent stay

Staff were nice, rooms were big, parking was easy (£4 per night) and all seemed pleasant. We left before breakfast but it looked good
